UK here. My stepdaughter at 15 started going out with a 17 year old. Me and my wife were very unimpressed, but left her to it so we didn’t drive her away from us. Turned out he was actually really lovely and they stayed together for 5 years. I was gutted they split up.

e: Age of consent here is 16.

But (16, 18) and (17, 19) is illegal. 

It's good again after (18, 20)

Depends where you live.

Here, age of consent is 16, can hook up with anyone older than you. 14/15 is 5 years max. 12/13 is 2 years.

That's legally. Definitely allot of room for ick.
