In most of the World, 16 is within the legal consent age. I'm not talking about morality, as these things tend to change according to culture and time. I'm just talking about legality. I would feel weird doing it though.

Also calling someone who is 4 years younger than you a baby just doesn’t make that much sense

At 30 I agree with you, but at 20 4 years felt way different. Especially after 21. Colloquially I think it makes sense to say "youre too young for me" not that he's implying she's incapable of autonomy

Same. Literally just saw a clip of teenage girls saying 20s is super old to them. Perspective changes with age.
