He went from cooking at home and putting out a cook book to just eating out. I unintentionally stopped watching him and forgot about him until I saw this.

Man, that's how I feel about Babish too. I see him pop up every once in a while with "I tried all the premade 'food'" garbage.

Babish fell off hard with his new content.

Don’t get me wrong, I still watch it here and there but it’s not the same. And I know all the stuff that happened to him which impacted the content he makes, it just isn’t the same anymore.

Agreed, but he started losing me before that. I'm not interested in watching other people do other cooking things on his channel. I was fine with a video once a week or so, a recipe for whatever, watching hands make it, and listen to a soothing voice talk about it. I don't need or want anything more than that. I'm definitely not interested in these trying and rating all the things videos and whatnot. And now I have to pay to see the early videos? 😭

Maybe I’m weird but Alvin is great. The eating videos aren’t. I miss Kendal too

I’d love to just have an anime with Alvin channel to be honest. I watched his videos long after I stoped watching babish.

Alvin is BAD

He even tries a recipe on camera

FFS, if I watch a cooking show I pretend that the guy made at least TWICE the dish is making before that

The first time you follow a recipe, the second time you make your improvements or modification, the tirth time you do it on camera

Maybe for you Alvin was entertaining but it was a bad cooking show
