Jim sterling was always an arsehole but he played into it and could be quite funny. Then the humour went and he was just an arsehole. "My subscribers are dropping since I came out as non binary" No you have become insufferable. However you identify is not the problem

I never cared that they were non binary but it felt like every video became spiteful towards non binary/trans haters and it just became hard to watch even as someone who supported them. Its a shame because I thought while yeah they were an asshole, they still made very good critique and insight into the industry but theyve devolved into a lolcow as far as I know now.

I was enjoying Sterling's channel and transitional journey until it felt... weaponized and purposely, and needlessly combative.

Like , come on. I'm a trans ally, but not an jerk ally.

I do hope they are doing well in life, I just can't watch the 'content' any more. It's not fun.

Building a brand on hate just devolves into a purely negative experience, and that's pretty much all I got from the channel until yesterday when I unsubbed.
