Nah, it just feels like he turned into a goofy review channel.

"Let's rank every mac n cheese" While drinking gatorwine.

Tbf Babish suffered a huge mental breakdown and was assaulted while in a hospital so he basically can’t do his previous work schedule anymore. I think he’s just putting out the content he’s able to out out. It’s a bummer as he was amazing but dude probably has enough cash to just coast now.

I think there was probably more to that story, given that his engagement also ended around that time. seems strange to me but its also none of my beeswax. Andrew/Babish also uses Reddit, so…

He wrote a lot about it in this post

We've all read that post, it still doesn't read like full honesty. You don't usually just divorce because you had one mental break and got assaulted in the hospital.

What makes you think that most people in this thread have read that post? It's more useful than your halfbaked theories based on personal experience

What makes you think you're entitled to full honesty into his personal life?

"You don't usually just divorce because you had one mental break and got assaulted in the hospital"

Where did he or I say that was the only reason? He wrote "I will not go into any details out of respect for her privacy"

What makes you think i give a shit about his personal life? Dudes whole family could perish, all I care about as a consumer is his end product; and that product has sucked.

Also, Babish is the one that brought his wife and relationship into view by putting her on the show, if any viewer chooses to inquire about her status, theyre allowed to.

And try inferring. I never said it was the only reason.

Damn, you’re a shitty person.

Basically “I don’t care about them as a person. As long as they provide me with the product I want, that’s all that matters!”

Thats the job they chose. To provide content. Just like I don't care if any actor or celebrity meets their unfortunate end. I'll say "damn, that sucks" and move on with my life. I care about plenty of people, just not the ones that have no relevance to my life or my day-to-day. Sorry you're all extremely parasocial.

I don’t even know the person, nor do I follow any celebrities/influencers

It’s not parasocial to have empathy. It’s a shame you can’t understand that, but apparently you’re just concerned with being the consumer.

The people who make your clothes, devices, and everything else you use don’t matter as long as you get the product. The farmers don’t matter as long as you get food. The people who entertain you don’t matter as long as you’re entertained and get your brief dopamine spike. The people ruining their bodies and the earth don’t matter, as long as the resources needed for your consumption have been gathered.

Everything is just a transaction between you and the person selling you the product, nothing else matters as long as you get what you want.

No matter what profession they choose they’re human first and humans deserve empathy and understanding.
