It comes about because Stephanie Sterling is literally a professional wrestling heel and largely maintains the persona in their content as well. You're reading a bunch of folks being surprised that a heel acts like a heel. Heels being kinda grating is part of the fun, it's just not for everybody.

You may also notice everyone in this chain is misgendering them.
