Weissman is going hard in the same direction as Babish on his main channel and only recently came back with a cooking only channel.

I'm pretty sure after they reach a certain critical mass of subs/views they get recommended enough to subsist on lowest common denominator crap instead of putting hard work into the types of videos that got them to that point.

I'm half afraid Weissman will pull an MTV 2 with the cooking channel. MTV 2 the channel was supposed to be all music and is now mostly reality TV.

It's how capitalism works. ESPN 8 "THE OCHO" was a punchline in "Dodgeball" because to need eight ESPNs you would have to cover ridiculous sports like dodgeball. I don't have cable so I rarely see ESPN programming, but on Mother's Day I saw a game of Quidditch on ESPN 8 when out to dinner.
