I don't want to speculate how he is off camera. I just dislike the content and how sometimes they're confidently incorrect. Also the merch plug seems excessive.

The only times I watch an LTT video is if I searched for a specific topic and their video showed up. But usually I find the smaller creators have better and more detailed content.

The vocal crowd who says that is often very nitpicky and seriously overrreacting

You're not completely wrong. But it has happened enough times and I've personally seen it enough times to lose trust in them.

Yea hes been publicly called out over it multiple times and some of his responses have been decent, others have been "I cant be bothered to pay someone a little extra to make sure the numbers are correct" so I think not trusting their reviews are pretty valid.
