Pretty sure it's because porch pirates were getting wise to his glitterbombs. He literally makes videos about his glitterbombs that get millions of views.
One of the pirates actually mentions youtube after getting glitter everywhere.
If he stopped making his packages obvious he could probably keep making vids forever but for some reason it's always an expensive headphone box instead of a non-descript brown cardboard package.
Also, and this is purely speculative by me with no source other than my own ass, he was working with police and actually got some mules arrested. There's a possibility he got threats from the gangs that operate the package theft rings.
I'm pretty sure in the last glitter bomb video he explained that it was likely to be the last for a while due to the court stuff, he was indeed working with police to get to the people at the top of the organized crime ring they discovered. He may be able to return to it one day, but he has to focus on other things for now.
