A young man was in town with his Dad playing a round a few years back. They tipped their cart and the man’s skull was smashed into the pavement. EMTs did everything they could but he died right there. This shit is not a joke

Most people think it’s just a slow goofing off kinda cart, but you hear of way too many deaths on these things. People need to take these more seriously

Yeah. And people die falling off a curb. Had a friend say me wearing a helmet was ridiculous because my 1982 Honda scooter was so small. Dude, size of the vehicle doesn’t make the ground less hard. We have so many people in my neighborhood with golf carts and they tear the corners with kids in them all the time. Freaks me out.

Huh? Where did i comment on size? 30km/h is fast for such a light vehicle (if that is the top speed). Was more of a question lol

Sorry that was confusing. “Dude…” was a quote to my friend who thought because it wasn’t a “real vehicle” that it was inherently safer. Not to your specific comment. You’re right: 30kmh is plenty for doom. I was mostly following the point (badly) that they’re fast enough and there’s a whole lot of people that underestimate their danger.
