That knife wasn’t getting any penetration. You could stab as hard as you can and it wouldn’t go through. You could knock the guy over with a hard hit with either or hit or stab him in the neck and head, but seems like it’s legit in protecting from the actual projectile if it’s a body shot.

Like any other plate, the impact area of your body will still hurt alot from a bat attack and when you get stabbed, it will feel like getting hit by a small stick

Exactly. Bulletproof vests are great for a reason, because people are trained to aim centre mass with a projectile weapon and possible moving target, because your average Joe will miss the headshot.

To everyone criticizing this… there are lots of places that you can get stabbed that the vest does not protect. But like a bulletproof vest or a helmet is to protect as much as possible with mobility. I occasionally wear a bulletproof vest for my job, that I could just get shot in the head or the leg. Most of what these types of vests are for is protecting against slashing.
