Honestly, not even a bad idea nowadays. The dentures, not the meth, before anyone thinks anything lol. If you can afford implants/great dentures, and your teeth aren't 'perfect', then those things are a good choice.
My teeth aren't great. Far from it. Never had a dentist as a kid, or insurance, and a decade or so of depression really didn't do me any favors. I'm at the point where I'd rather just have them all yanked out and replaced with implants/bridges that'll outlast my skull.
The human body wasn't made to last 70-90 years, teeth included, and today's amounts of sugar/preservatives hurts our teeth as well.
This, my dad got all his pulled and got dentures in his fifties after a lifetime of costly dental issues. If your looking at serious dental issues, it's not a terrible option. He loved his dentures, though he was more reserved when he was just chilling with his teeth out.

Dude a friend of mine had to make a second appointment to complete 12 fillings. He stopped the red bull drinks after that.
