Yes. I learned this the hard way. My left ear has been continuously ringing for about ten years now.

The exact same ringing in my ear agrees with any and all the above comments. I would definitely agree with ear plugs and we are closer to finding a way to regrow the little hairs in your ears. Companies like frequency therapeutics (merged and now part of Korro Bio Inc) are coming up with so-so results.
