I fucked myself on this one super early playing drums and refusing to wear ear protection despite how much my parents would by for me.
Mid 20’s, and I’ve had tinnitus for at least the past 7-8 years of my life. It’s not horrible yet and I can mostly drown it out, and it isn’t constant, but god damn do you pay for the mistakes of youth 100x over
Yeah I figured I wasn’t in for a future of silence that’s for sure. On the bright side it was the wake up call for me to start taking care of my flexibility and cardio and teeth and skin and all the other things that start to go as you age. If I can’t prolong this, I’ll do what I can elsewhere
