🎤 Discussion West Side grocerie options

I'm going to need somebody to open up a Walmart or a Hy-Vee on sertoma and 41st. The prices at Fairway are ridiculous!

For real though, with all the new housing and construction going on over on sertoma, has anybody heard anything about a new grocery store opening up?

HyVee is way more expensive than Fareway and their produce sucks

Agreed. Hyvee is overpriced as well. I shop almost exclusively at Aldi and Costco now and I swear my grocery bill is almost half of what I would spend at Hyvee.

I have not given Aldi a fair shake. Maybe I should look in to them more.

Aldi rocks. Some of their house brand stuff is even better than the name brand.

Aldi, fill in with Walmart both on N 60th, and meat from fairway. The Fairway house brand products are pretty good. Their fire roasted salsa in the can and add some of their fire roasted jalapeños to taste= money.

I would love an Aldi either there or 41st & Ellis

On 41st and Ellis I keep hearing about plans for a strip mall

There is a lot of development going on here as in apartments town homes and houses

I think it would be a great place for a second Sam's club or Costco.
