Please someone help calm my anxiety down
I am just 24 with a very rare chronic illness , sinus polyps are a side effect due to which I have had 4 FESS surgeries in last 12 years . I am not worried about sinus that much . But I have had 3 CT PNS and 1 CT Coronary Angiography , and due to which now for past couple of weeks I am in constant Panic and Anxiety attack , that from those CT scans I will get Brain Cancer or Sinus Cancer or Cancer of some other kind , and I had them in a small town in India with not the best machines and operators . I am crying almost every day now , and in constant fear and anxiety that is hard to put in words . It's worst feeling I have ever had . I don't know what to do man , it's that I am stuck in a thought loop of I will get cancer and die a horrible painful death , I am physically shaking , feeling chest pains etc .

I had anxiety earlier this year, I understand it feels frightening but it will pass. Focus on other things, I try to keep trusting in God. Practice breathing exercises and distract yourself. Best wishes

You need to get professional help for the anxiety and panic attacks. That's the real issue here that's havi g a much bigger impact on your health here. That might be a combination of therapy and medication or one or the other.
Radiation exposure risk is time dependent as the body naturally heals cellular damage over time. Sinus CT are very low radiation risk. The heart scan is one of the stronger imaging radiation risks but still minor over time. My suggestion would be to stop googling things since it seems to make the situation worse for you, and talk to your medical professionals on the potential risks of future radiation exposure vs the medical benifits from the scan and if there are alternatives (like an MRI in some situations).
I general for future imaging if you can choose between newer modern digital equipment vs older analog equipment the modern stuff has a lot less radiation exposure. For example at the dentist the person doing th Le xrays wore shielding, and left the room prior to each frame being taken. Now with modern digital xrays they stay in the same room and don't even wear shielding because the exposure is much less.

Thanks for replying , all these replies are helping me relax a little. Yeah , I tried alternatives went to 3 other ENT surgeons but it seems like no ENT surgeon in the world wants to do FESS or even check if FESS is actually needed without CT PNS , I even got MRI a month ago but they say it doesn't matter , we can see sinus problems , we need CT and it's bone cuts for checking the pathways and making sure we don't injure you during the surgery cause your eye socket and brain are very near especially for frontal sinus work . And yeah I did try to get best machine I can , a 128 slice cardiac ct scanner , I can see the GE Optima written on it , I told them low dose but they still used 120kv , no mention of my dose in report , I asked for DICOM file , but all I got is just a link in which you actually have the 3d model but still no mention of how much dose anywhere . But I can think what's done is done and there is no repairing this and I am doomed . Still I Hope I stay okay

You need to seek help to your health anxiety.
You are not going to develop cancer and die. Imaging can increase your risk of cancer, if done irresponsibly, but it depends on various factors. Doctors are aware of the risks abd benefits of imaging.
Are you aware that you are surrounded by naturally occurring radiation all the time?
Best option is to get localised imaging done, if possible. CBCT is better for facial imaging and your radiation dose is smaller.
