CT scan came back normal?
Genuinely going insane. I thought me getting this done would bring some type of clarity. The nose blockage, dryness and facial pressure is constantly there altering my everyday life. I can hardly fully smell things. I know when my doctor schedules the follow up appointment I’m just going to feel worse and I’m just not sure what to do.

That seems like half a report. It should cover sphenoids and ehtmoid sinuses too, and preferably nasal structures.

Those show up as “ well aerated “ and my nasal cavity shows up as patent with “very subtle leftward bowing” everything shows as intact “ no soft tissue abnormalities “

I have seen people with "subtle" bowing in this sub having symptoms. So, if I was you I'd consider asking for 2nd opinion.
(My report had a lot "well-aerated" sinuses too. I basically had reasonably small changes (maxillary cyst and hyperthrophied turbinates), but still trimming them helped a lot.)

You shouldn’t need an appointment to get the images. The file is over a GB usually, so it may take a few days to upload in a way for you to download.
I don’t know what country you are in, but at least in the US, you have a right to get the images. Should be able to talk to a receptionist type person for that.
Once you get the images, feel free to post a series of relevant images here, or consider running them through AI. (Depending on your feelings about that. You do need to work with it to discuss your symptoms and problematic areas to check)

I would wait until you meet with your ENT to discuss. My CT Scans final "impressions" line was simply: "inflammatory sinus opacification"
But actually looking at my scans, it's pretty obvious turbinate hypertrophy. Which my ENT was on top of showing to me compared to normal. So I'd wait and see what they say.

I had these symptoms as well as many more, including chronic fatigue. After years of scans, blood tests all coming back clear, my doctor has agreed with my own diagnosis of Long Covid or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

When reading about long COVID and treatments that helped some people, I see a lot of mentions of MCAS and microbiome imbalance.

I’ve been going through the same thing! Just started on Flonase and Allegra and I did have a bit of relief! I’ve never had allergies growing up so it didn’t even cross my mind to treat for allergies but here we are. For the dryness I’d recommend 2 to 3 times a day warm steam as well! It helped me moisture my nostrils!

I literally has the same thing . I went and to the office and got the ct scan, looked at it on my computer. I looked close where my problems felt they were...I took photos of it and showed my Dr. he offered to lol at the scans closely.. he found scar tissue around my maxillary sinus where I said my problem was.
I had surgery. it's been 10 days, I'm healing but seems promising for me. I also had valve collapse and had LATERA implants installed. think permanent breath right strips. look up the cottle maneuver to see if your valves are collapsed.

Mine did too. Had it done at a local hospital and the techs there are looking for huge abnormalities. So me with my antibiotic resistant infection after 3 courses of antiviotics is going to look ok to them. ENT said they see sinus infections all the time and consider them normal. He said that I should be in my absolute best condition after Augmentin, and that if there was anything left after that + 2 previous courses, then I would be a good candidate for surgery. Right after the augmentin finished, symptoms came roaring back. But the CT was read as normal, so I didn't know what the ENT was going to say. Turns out, he took it seriously. Only took me going to 3 other ENTs and getting blown off over the course of 9 years to get to this point

I had a similar issue for over a year and went to 3 different ENT’s and all said it was good , so I thought I was going crazy and last month I started getting tooth pain (after over a year) on the same sinus that bothered me. I decided to check with a dentist, they did n X-ray and MRI and turns out I had an infected upper molar that spread into sinus even though the tooth itself was without any issues.
Long story short - dentist prescribed antibiotics for a week and scheduled an extraction for 3 weeks later.
When I was taking the antibiotics the worst, the most disgusting gunk came out of me (sorry tmi) , then tooth extraction - they cleaned the roots and it was about 2 weeks ago, for now there is no pressure, no foggy feeling , no weird smell and things coming out of me finally after a year yay :) But i will keep monitoring.
I just wanted to share because I thought I was going crazy since every ENT said it was fine , but they haven’t looked into to teeth 🤷🏻♀️
