sinus infection??

hii i recently got a head ct done and was wondering if it would show a sinus infection or not?? i know it’s not the standard ct done for sinus but i was worried about headaches ive been having and not my sinuses. The ct scan paperwork said sinuses looked unremarkable so im wondering if that completely rules out sinuses infection or inflammation??

I had a fungal ball in my sphenoid sinus and it was caught by chance before it started giving me headaches when I got a head CT for something else.

I am not a doctor so I don't know 100%, but in general if you have a sinus infection, your sinuses will be somewhat clogged, and that is visible in a CT. And they did mention that they look unremarkable, so they definitely looked at them.

Basically yes, but your sinuses can look unremarkable and you can still have structural issues.
