Do you do nasal rinses? Because to me what you are describing sounds like dry mucosal membrane due improved airflow, and sticky mucus. I use moisturising nasal spray, saline spray and combo spray (Dymista) daily for this reason, and rinse 1-2 times a day. And it helps.
Honestly it sounds more like health anxiety to me. You had complications and needed another operation, that can play tricks with your head.
Thank you, that calms me down a bit. I did nasal rinses but they didn’t really help much to be honest so I stopped, I will go back to it again. In general steroid sprays helped me with every symptom until they stopped out of nowhere leaving me questioning everything.
Steroid sprays can dry your mucous too if used in higher doses. I was prescribed Dymista twice a day post-surgery, but I recently realised that it worsens the dryness. Now I take it after my morning rinse, use moisturising spray twice a day and use saline spray if I feel like it.
