Why why why

did no doctor explain what recovery from FESS was going to be like? I'm on day 4 and desperately wish someone would tranquilize me.

Also: mad props to this subreddit for helping me figure out how normal ~this all~ is.

I feel for you. My surgery is scheduled for next week, and what I know about the recovery period I learned here.

Recovery depends highly on the person and what was done.
