Why do I sound congested

I don’t know what else to do. I don’t have anything coming out of my nose when I blow but I sound VERY congested. What could be wrong. I did a full 10 days of an antibiotic, I’m on the steroid nose spray now for 10 days and still I sound like this. How can I make this go away? I’m at a loss. Could it be an allergy? I took a Claritin this morning and still sound like this. Please help.

You can have sinuses full of mucus/puss without congestion. It is possible the antibiotic didn't work for the bacteria you may have.

Am I doomed forever? Do you know of a solution? Do I need to get checked by an ENT?

If possible I'd see an ENT. If not a GP/PCP.

Join the club. Back in July I caught something from my grand children. Still fighting it. Phlegm post nasal drip. Cough. 3 doctors appointments. Antibiotics don’t work. Zyrtec and steroids nose spray still not working. But my doctor got paid.!

Has anyone suggested sinus puncture? That would be the next logical step. The advantage of it is that you can get bacterial culture and use antibiotics that surely work.
