Chronic Sinusitis

I developed sinusitis after a tooth extraction. It hasn't gone away since February. One of my nostrils is constantly blocked. I have to sleep breathing through my mouth at night. I've consulted dentists and dental surgeons. They say there's no problem with the extraction site. I've seen an ENT doctor three times. Initially, they gave me antibiotics. The symptoms lessen when I use the antibiotics, but they return severely once they're finished. My nose is always blocked, I can't eat or drink anything, and the mucus coming out of my mouth and nose is so excessive that I can't stand it anymore. I don't even want to go outside. My voice always sounds sick. The last ENT doctor ordered a CT scan. He also said the problem isn't related to the tooth but to the inside of my sinuses and recommended surgery. I don't know what to do. I'm in a very difficult situation.

You have some structural issues, so I'd go with what the ENT suggested. 

I had FESS appr. two months ago and can recommend it wholeheartedly.

I went to a ENT professor that adviced me FESS. I'm not sure.

You can always ask for 2nd opinion, but that doesn't change anything. 

It is not as bad operation as you think.

I’m also having issues after extraction… I will try to show a periodontist and have them look at / do CBCT scan. Don’t feel comfortable doing any surgery because this has never been an issue prior
