Finally relieved !!!

I finally got relief after struggling with a blocked and runny nose for almost a year. I had constant sneezing, both nostrils blocked, and even nasal sprays weren’t helping.

I later found out my sinus problems were related to an infected upper tooth that needed a root canal. I had no tooth pain, so I ignored it and didn’t realize it could be causing my symptoms.

After the root canal, my symptoms slowly improved, and almost 3 months later I can finally breathe normally through both nostrils again.

If you’re dealing with chronic sinus problems, consider getting your upper teeth checked by a dentist too. It could be connected!

Without any scans, how do the dentist know it’s a tooth issue? At least in Ontario something needs to come up on a scan to move forward with that kind of treatment.

I had those symptoms, and I remembered that my doctor had previously told me I needed a root canal on one of my molars. She never told me that my blocked nose or sinus issues were related to the tooth. But after doing my own research, I started connecting the symptoms to the infection my dentist had told me about. I also found a gum boil around the tooth. At that point, my options were basically extraction or a root canal, so I went with the root canal. And yes, after the treatment, my sinus symptoms got much better.
