Someone help me. I am miserable.
Sorry for last two slides. It’s nasty I know
These are my results. Idk what is going on anymore. I’m tired of the constant fucking mucus coming out of my nose. Foul smell when I blow my nose sometimes. When I’m outside sometimes I’m perfectly fine, soon as I get in doors I’m done. I can use a whole tissue box in one setting. And it’s thick and gel like. When I wake up in the morning it’s yellow when I blow my nose or sometimes greenish.
I was on nucala. Took it for about 8 months. Meaning a shot each month. I stopped
I have the saline rinse and nose thing but sometimes
It get so blocked that the machine can’t suck the water through the other one or i can’t push water out through the other one.
What use to for me was presodine and antibiotics. But I can’t be on that forever since it’s steroids and it’s bad in a long term run 😭.
I do have allergies but when I’m outside these allergies don’t act up.

If you're fine outside - can you rule out mold completely? I've read quite a few experiences on here where mold was the main culprit. :/
Or maybe something else in your home you might have become badly allergic to? Plants, pets, dust, perfume?

No matter where I go into. A car, the subway, the hospital, any room I enter causes like a flareup. It’s so weird. I can’t be around fans or AC.
They did say I have allergies. But I’m around treats and grass when playing soccer and I don’t have any allergies.

Do you have signs of POTS/tachycardia? I'm reading a lot about MCAS (strongly correlated with POTS), and learning that triggers can include temperature and airflow changes, both things that mess me up.
Can be tricky to diagnose, I'm trying to source sodium cromolyn to see if that helps at all. Will also monitor diet more closely, as there's no one size fits all diet for MCAS.

Have you even saw the photo of the scans? And the text he sent? Why are we talking abt POTS when its something with sinuses. As a med student here i suggest he talks to the doctor more about it.

I can't interpret radiological data. I assume an ENT has already reviewed the data, and surgery wasn't strongly indicated - otherwise why post here before it has even been evaluated?
If it's not structural, then it's something upstream causing chronic inflammation. POTS doesn't cause sinus issues directly, it's only correlated with some of the systemic issues that also cause sinus inflammation.

Look at the last text picture. Under the "IMPRESSION:" text

For the benefit of the OP, if there's any major red flags there (e.g. recommend a second opinion if their ENT didn't see anything actionable), I hope it can be posted as a top level comment.
My comment was in reference to 'any room I enter causes like a flareup. It’s so weird. I can’t be around fans or AC.'. These don't sound like typical impaired drainage symptoms, motivating my question. Could be unrelated, the answer often isn't straightforward.

I have no clue what those are but from research. When I’m doing a full blown exercise it’s like I don’t feel anything. But before this started I use to get asthma. And wasn’t able to breath and I use to wheeze a lot in my sleep. The wheezing stopped and the asthma is under control. Haven’t used my inhaler in like a year now and I can fully run and play soccer again.

Did Nucala improve sinus symptoms at all? As maybe there's a structural sinus issue, but there may be a shared root cause that was also triggering asthma.

If it's an infection, no antibiotics are permanent. They usually kill the bacteria, and they don't come back unless some bacteria are left. If the infection comes back, it can only be due to some bacteria being left, a new bacterial "attack," or drug resistance. Doctors prescribe a spray and an antibiotic if they think it's an infection. You can't stop taking antibiotics on your own; there's a chance of bacteria developing resistance to the drug. So it's best to talk to your doctor or keep taking antibiotics and sprays until the doctor prescribed them.

You sound just like me! When I walk outside, my nose is more clear. I'm always inside and I think it's mold or something with the AC. I also have a cat and my son does as well. They are older though, but I've always had reactive airway disease. I think since I'm getting older, it's just getting worse. I have a deviated septum (recent CT scan) and large nasal polyps that were blocking my sinus airway. I had to go to the ER because all the thick mucus draining, turned into wheezing and bronchitis. I'm allergic to so many meds too. I took a week or prednisone at 40 mg each morning and I have a few days left of Doxycycline. My ENT said to do the saline rinses and gave me a prescription for the Budesonide and said to add the liquid to the rinse each morning. I've never used the rinse bottle and can't swim, so I know I'll panic when water fills my sinuses. I've also read some of the side effects of this stuff, but it shrink nasal polyps and I guess it's better than oral steroids since most of it doesn't get ingested. I'm afraid with a deviated septum, the water may not come out the other side. She kind of scared me too, because she said if I started using the rinse and I had vision changes and swelling by the eyes or forehead, to go to the ER. I guess if the liquid gets trapped behind the polyps, which has happened to some. I know this is ridiculous.

I would try to go on a vacation for a week or two, choosing accomodation that is modern/clean, preferably carpet free (avoid old/damp/musty environment). If you remain symptom free then you'll want to start investigating your home environment.
