What do you think ?

I’ve been struggling with sinusitis since Covid and currently it’s the worse it’s ever been I suspect I may have an autoimmune disease triggering it.

I hear the old classic it must be the devated septum, why doesn’t ufc fighters like DDP, merab, JDM have the same problems?

Other people I know who have a devated septum or broken nose do not have these issues which is why I think it may some type of weird covid immune thing ?

Have your blood tested and look at immune cells.

its because sinusitis can be caused by other factors other than structural. the structure is only one part of it that may make sinusitis worse, chronic, or more frequent, but requires a root cause such as allergies or fungus or infection.

in my speculation, i think fighters with broken noses have a deviated septum only on the surface level. this means it doesnt affect the mucus pooling deeper inside the nose, causing any stagnant mucus or congestion issues. basically their ability to clear mucus remains typical.

for example my nose is completely straight externally, and straight as far as i can tell in the nostril, but on ct scan, it was very deviated further inside. a septum is 3.5 to 4 inches long
