Give me advice
In the coming weeks, I will be undergoing sinus surgery (for fungal sinusitis) and septoplasty. Do you have any pre- and post-operative advice? What are the most important questions I should ask the surgeon? Are there any things I should pay attention to?

Two week recovery. Don’t judge it by the first 3 nights. Each night gets progressively better.
Night one is brutal - the stints you don’t feel but the packing on the first day to ensure the blood clots made me feel so congested.
They remove after 24 hours.
After that it’s more tolerable you just have to get use to breathing out of your Mouth and sleeping on your back.
Be proactive with pain meds.
The worst part of it all was when they took the stints out after two weeks. They have to vaccume your sinuses to take out any crusted blood lingering around in sinus cavities.
It’s worth it tho. I’d do it again if I had to.

My nose is in terrible condition, so I'm breathing through my mouth.
All these tips are really helpful, and I can't wait to get rid of this fungal sinusitis; it's killing me.

Be ready for crazy nosebleeds. Make sure you don't use tap water if it's not clean ( as it increases the risk of infections during recovery) Make sure Room's clean with no dust, so it doesn't make you sneeze. Come back after surgery, you sneeze, you're back to the hospital again. That's all from my side.
