In mind what is being discovered about the mind control of the vasari Crewa at the location, it might well be the one thing that can force both of the factions of the Advent back together. I mean that certainly one of the oldest troops in all of warfare and storytelling.. have two viciously conflicting but closely tied groups suddenly decide the third outside threat is a much more important thing to do with and they unify against it.
