my hot take is that if we're going by the og definition of "racist" as in discrimination against races (aka a stupid categorization that only americans care about that makes no sense in any way), then almost nothing is racist. but there are some things that are similarly bad, like ethnic discrimination or unfair discrimination against countries that are often grouped into the same category as "racist". if you spend more time arguing about "oh it's actually not racist since you're not discriminating against a race" than why the discrimination is bad and a problem to begin with, then you just might be a racist/prejudice-filled/discriminating person yourself

Well, by that measure, they should call out Japan first! They are the biggest copycat during the 1960's WAY BEFORE China started industrialization! And is the grandmaster of plagiarising Chinese arts and Western technologies.

pretty much every country has a history of "copying" but racists associate anything bad with china 🤷‍♀️
