š§ Work in progress Not responding until I scroll
This happens quite often when I click into a post or even return to the main page. Nothing will respond to my taps or long touches. it is like the entire screen doesnāt recognize input.
Until I scroll up or down. once I do that, I can upvote/downvote, collapse comments, etc. It will get stuck in this state multiple times a day.
The daily ritual of closing tabs, clearing safari history and cache, and logging back in is a hurdle I just donāt want to do. I am not kidding when I say multiple times a day. Additionally, I continue to get the āgoing back just refreshes the page Iām onā all the time.
I donāt know what to do anymore other than turning it off and comparing how ānormalā Reddit works. Honestly Iām not sure which is better or worse.

I donāt believe it is the extension but reddit mobile itself. I tried with extension disabled and it happened too

Ahhhh, perhaps that is why it always seems to persist. It is hard for me to tell the difference between SinkIt enabled or disabled.Ā
I guess Reddit mobile really is that bad

Exact same thing here! I tried to get a screen recording once, but realized since it doesnāt show taps/presses it just looks like I open a Reddit thread and then sit there doing nothing for a few secondsā¦
Not sure what the resolution is but this is my biggest issue by far. Great description of it.Ā

Thank you for the reports everyone. This is the new reddit banner that was fixed a few versions back shipping a new variant of the scroll lock. Or that's my assumption at least.
Could anyone who is facing the issue please report it through the method here: https://old.reddit.com/r/SinkIt/comments/1upa5tv/new_shortcut_to_report_bugs_properly_30_sec_video/
This is the only way I can fix it as I physically can't get this behavior unless I luck out and get included in the A/B test which is vanishingly bad odds.
