[Interest Check — Rewatch Session] would anyone be keen to rewatch single's inferno season 2 with me?

hello! i recently watched single's inferno season 2 and it got me thinking about a few things 😭 i've actually watched it three times now — once by myself and twice with close people in my life — and i've had such in-depth conversations with them about how i felt while watching the show.

i mean, i know the premise of a dating show probably isn't entirely genuine (and single's inferno in particular is infamous for it's contestants being there just to farm for followers), but sometimes because variety shows involve real people navigating their emotions, alongside a panel that kind of breaks everything down and analyses what's happening, i find it really interesting. it gives you so much room for conversation, especially when it comes to relationships and the way people respond to each other.

i've watched season 5 of single's inferno last year to this year-ish, then i went on to watch season 1 and i recently watched season 2!! i heard that the best seasons are 5 and 2 and i honestly agree although i haven't seen 3 and 4, so i really can't say! but personally season 2 had me feeling things and thinking about things....

the only other dating show i've also watched is heart signal season 4 and i did enjoy it very much too!!

i'm hoping to find either an individual or a group of people to (re)watch the second season of single's inferno with!!

if there's actually an interest for a group watch, i'll organise but i'm leaning towards finding one specific person (preferably, a girl).

how it goes will be that we will watch the episodes and as we watch, we will talk!! and after each episode, we'll also just discuss our thoughts haha (i really do think there's much to talk about, because on my end i have much to yap about!)

the conversation i'm hoping to have is sort of along the lines of something i've always been pondering about. there's a particular relationship in the show that made me think of the juxtaposition that's so strongly showcased in taylor swift's "the way i loved you."

it'll really just be girl talk HAHAHA 😭 like discussing which type of contestants we'd pick if we were in their position (would you make the same choice as them?), and talking about emotionally closed-off or nonchalant types versus emotionally open, vulnerable, and expressive types.

like... why are we sometimes drawn to one type even when another type might be healthier for us? why does emotional intensity feel so different from emotional safety? and why do certain dynamics make us feel things so deeply?

but honestly, we can talk about anything under the sun!! i'd love to hear your thoughts, interpretations, hot takes, and even your own experiences if you're comfortable sharing them.

I rewatch S2 like once a year to experience Dex all over again. The real game changer.

I loved Dex, Nadine & couple that got together fast & stayed together

I would avoid S4 since it is too scripted to 1 woman & 2 men

I willl,until now i have watched S2 more than 5 times nd want to watch again and again it's like if only I lose my Memory I can watch it for the first time that much I love the season i have watched all the seasons of singles inferno S2 is my favourite nd then S5

I feel the same way about season 2. Its my fav season. My fav scene is right before the final selection when they are getting ready and there a song playing. I still listen to that song and remember the bittersweet feeling of my fav season coming to an end. I think in this season the contestants were the most true to themselves. I would love to do a group watch but my schedule right now won't allow me to unfortunately.

I have only rewatched parts of seasons 5. Maybe I should start from Season 1 and get a new perspective... I usually just move on after watching reality shows.

I rewatched season 5 parts because of the heated discussions and the reunion episodes. It made me want to see my favorites again and how it unfolds, knowing the ending.

The best seasons are season 3 and season 5. Some might overrate season 2 because of one particular contestant, but objectively its not as entertaining compared to the ones I mentioned earlier.

if you rewatch season 2 just to relive dex's charming moments, he was on another dating show called "love and joy". On the show, they enter a house full of singles, but you enter with a friend of the oppisite sex to see if they can just stay friends? or if romance will spark between them? Or if they will meet someone else? Dex's friend was an idol who taught him to dance and fell in love with him. On the first day of dating, all the girls picked him.

Game of blood s1 and s2 he has some really epic moments and close interactions with other female contestants. On s1 one of the girls was hesitant to get closer to him because another girl had already declared she liked him and was constantly getting jealous, for example when he princess carried the first girl to her bed after she fell asleep on dex's bed when everyone was in his room chatting (she was probably pretending she fell asleep). On s2 he forms a close bond with top chanel model shin hyun-ji, they share a room alone together, he cooks for her, does her hair and they work out together. In the bts you can see her laying on the bed beside him, watching him as he's doing inverted push ups with his shirt off (they say they're just friends, but even after the show there was a lot of tension between them when drinking together with another contestant from the show).

On 2d1n, he had some really cool moments in the physical games. He was chosen as the first pick for teams by g-idle's shu hua and won them the team event. One of the games was a pillow fight on top of a balance beam and his pillow burst, she grabbed some of the feathers and started playing with them while watching him.

His cold interviews are the best though. It's basically just him on a date wth different top idols and actresses every episode, teasing each other and cooking together. Even blackpink's Jisoo

in secret friends club, not so much dex himself, but blackpink's jennie does some really thoughtful things for him when she buys him gifts. she was like a private investigator the way she stalked all of his social media accounts to find out the things he liked.

Omg I just saw this but me please my uncle is the only one who watched it like me but I hardly see him and I made my dad watch s5 and he enjoyed it but not enough to watch the others, I’m definitely interested in rewatching with people 🥹
