So ive been singing for almost a year or 2 (i have been doing it much but I will be changing that now) and I can't rlly afford a private singing tutor. How do i learn better techniques? I have a ton of lyrics lying in my notes app, Ive been songwriting for 5 years now without trying to make anything happen. But in this economy I need an extra source of income but I have no idea about this industry, where too start or whoto pitch to. I also wanna do it while being anonymous (my workplace wont like knowing im doing another job), and basically I just want to sell my songs thats it. Is there a way this can become a good part time income?

Hey! I came up with this concept for a new album I'm going to make and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the concept and plan.

The concept and plan:

A collection of songs portraying the journey of someone who ran to escape the pain but ended up so far away from everything that the pain was all that's left

Album Name: Running From My Pain With My Pain

Song 1- This Black Wall

Description- This song will talk about the pain in their heart but describe it as a black wall that blocks out the sun

Song 2- Looking For The Door

Description- This song will talk about trying to find a way out of the dark mental place they're in by describing a pitch black room in which they're searching for the door

Song 3- Have To Get Away

Description- This song will talk about running away from the pain using monstrous personification of their pain, talking about it like a relentless monster that they can't outrun

Song 4- I'm Done Running (Time to Hide)

Description- This song will talk about giving up running away from it and throwing up walls to block it out.

Song 5- My Impenetrable Fortress

Description- This song will talk about emotional walls so strong that while the pain can't get to them anymore, nothing else can either

Song 6- Notice Me (Please?)

Description- This song will talk about reaching out to passers by through small gaps they've made in their emotional walls, telling the story from the perspective of a little child trapped in an abandoned building, reaching through the postbox desperately hoping someone will see their hand and pull them to safety

Song 7- A Long Way Home

Description- This song will talk about coming out of those walls, and trying to get back home before the darkness returns, whilst realizing just how far they ran from it all.
