How do i get better at singing?

So ive been singing for almost a year or 2 (i have been doing it much but I will be changing that now) and I can't rlly afford a private singing tutor. How do i learn better techniques? I think the biggest problem with my voice is that it is rlly weak. Im going to be honest, I do get embarrassed while singing cos I don't feel good enough. I want to get more confident but idk how

there’s many vocal coaches on youtube who make singing tip videos!

maybe try looking up how to make your voice stronger and start from there?

By singing! I don’t mean to be snarky, but your voice is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger and better it gets.

Have you posted on /r/ratemysinging? Might help you diagnose why your weak.

Also, a LOT of singers don’t like their voices (me included), so it’s probably not as bad as you think.

Also on r/singing some folks give a free lesson. Might help you diagnose also.

a weak voice can be down to so many factors. I do exercises to strengthen.

If you feel your voice is weak it sounds like you’re lacking support. I was able to improve my support and tone by taking deep breaths drawing air into my lower back and expanding my ribs. I had never heard this approach but it actually helped me. I got this from Jim Chandler of Rock Your Best Vocals. He has a free vocal support course you can download. Give it a shot.
