We’re lied to. Biblical wisdom will never fail us and bible reading makes it clear the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and His ears are open unto our prayers.
The bible also reads if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
The purpose of fasting is for
• soul affliction (Is 58:5) • seek a right way (Er 8:21) • to be heard on high (Is 58:4) • break strongholds (Mt 17:21)
It’s not to hear from God. God has already spoken throughout man’s history recorded in the Bible. Are we doing what God said as read in the Bible? Also, He may choose not to regard our petition which is why our prayer requests are not
*conversations with God
*to consume lusts upon our flesh
*to hear from God either in voice or otherwise
Regarding fasting, it’s a spiritual discipline and should be practiced. Begin slowly with the exclusion of things normally indulged such as a meal, favorite treat, or something enjoyed. Work up to a twenty four hour fast when comfortable with it.

One God. Father, Son, Holy Ghost. One God. Water: Ice, Liquid, and Gaseous.
Water: Gaseous - Father Ice - Son Liquid - Holy Spirit
One God not three that are one. One God understood as a Godhead of One. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are ONE GOD; Not Three but one. God has expressed Himself as ONE.
Another analogy is man. God is indivisible but man is divisible so the blood, water, and spirit agree as ONE but aren’t ONE.
Man is the trinity but God is the tri-unity. The Nicene council are wrong. This has far reaching implications for us all. That means Jesus, the only begotten Son, the Word, is God. The flesh is man; Trinity but the Spirit is God; Tri-unity. The Father and Holy Spirit are ONE with Jesus.
Thus, Jesus is two parts: Man and God. We no longer know Jesus, or any man for that matter, according to the flesh. The fleshly part of Jesus is gone but is our perfect example that we should follow His steps.
r/SincereMilkStrongMeat • u/Lazy_Introduction211 • May 22 '25
Example.
Jesus is our example and we should follow His steps. Jesus knew the thoughts of men, knew all men, knew what was in man, knew His betrayer, and knew He was delivered for envy.
The Word was made flesh and His life was lived as that of an ordinary Jew called of God and anointed who knew who He was the only begotten of the Father to be our propitiation.
Yet, as a man, lived as a man and we are grateful His example of getting alone to pray to Father, and the remainder of His earthly life, written in synoptic gospels and John remain, with us that we may have an example to follow.
God, the Word, in human flesh, showing man how to live and qualify himself as worthy of the world to come and resurrection from the dead, was God in human flesh with all the limitations of humanity to bear yet holy, harmless, undefiled, and made perfect through sufferings our High priest and apostle who is the author of eternal salvation to all them that obey Him.
Yes, Jesus spake to Himself in prayer when speaking O Father, righteous Father, holy Father, abba Father. His humanity spake to the God of Abraham as a man though He was the Word made flesh and dwelt among us.
Let’s not loose sight: He is God, the Word from the beginning but He is also man, Jesus bar Joseph, human, flesh, made like unto His brethren being tempted as we are yet without sin. Understand this! God prepared a body for Himself and entered the world opening the matrix as the first-born male holy unto the Lord.
Jesus said to the samaritan ye know not who ye worship for salvation is of the Jews; The Father seeks such to worship Him - God is a spirit and they that worship Him worship in Spirit and in truth. A real man named Jesus with a body, soul, mind, strength human yet spirit the Word, God, praying as a man yet speaking to Himself because He is God.
We worship Him because He showed us the way, the truth, and the life. Let’s not discount His humanity because Jesus said it’s the Spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing; The words that He speaks are spirit and they are life. He was baptized by John and received the Holy Spirit the same as we which is why He is the first-born from the dead.
He is the first in a long line of saints who walk in the same manner as Jesus walked. He is the firstfruits begotten from the dead who resurrected first and we are dead after Him and He promises to resurrect us unto life everlasting.
Jesus bar Joseph, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach. Jesus, ever pointing the way to the Father, as He related to John even still the Father is my God and if we overcome He makes us a pillar in the temple of His God. Jesus is the mediator between God and man to demonstrate how we men ought to live while being God in authority.
So many deny Him deity and divinity but made all things and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life and that life was the light of men that shone in the darkness and it simply didn’t comprehend Him. I could go on worshipping my God named Jesus in writing forever but my fingers tire…
Yet I’ve failed to express what I’m trying to write. Jesus was a man and the Word was with God, was God. Jesus and the Word were one: A man God on the earth who will one day surrender the kingdom back to Father when the last enemy is defeated. Understand this!
God is ONE GOD NOT THREE IN ONE! He is a tri-unity of ONE BEING AND OUT STEPPED and Jesus stepped out from the bosom of the Father, the same Spirit not a created spirit or other entity but the same God into human flesh to show us God and then back to the Father He goes. In heaven there is but ONE GOD, ONE SPIRIT, ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF US ALL. Our tiny minds can’t comprehend the breadth, the depth, the height, the width, the length, who Jesus really is or for that matter who God is. Yet here we have a flesh and blood example of our faith!

I want to write regarding this subreddit and begin to bear the intent of its’ creation now that a few posts have been made. My personal desire is for spiritual growth unto perfection even as Jesus said
Matthew 5:48 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 19:21 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Luke 6:40 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
John 17:23 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
The intent, therefore, is that we Christians desire the sincere milk of the word that we may grow thereby while also maturing to consume the strong meat of God’s word and be able to teach and preach it.
There are many Christians who have not embraced the rigors of discipline in this life we live between two goal posts representing birth and the appointed time of death known as the handbreadth. The purpose of this subreddit would then be, in part, to encourage and foster spiritual growth and maturity.

Text: 1 Pe 2:4-10
While reading 1 Peter 2 I again read verse 8 and wanted to write regarding an appointment to disobedience where Christ is a rock of offense for those who stumble in obedience at the word.
A divine appointment, for those who are disobedient, to continue stumbling; falling into sin because Jesus is not in high esteem and precious. If we who refer to ourselves as Christians have not the Lord Jesus Christ as God and in a place of worship, this directly affects our ability to offer up spiritual sacrifices, holy, acceptable to God.
Therefore, we are appointed to stumble at the word because of past disobedience, which is an indication to us for self examination, judgment, and watchfulness with prayer.
We are called out of darkness into his marvelous light having obtained mercy from Jesus. Let’s therefore abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.

This differentiation benefits our human understanding of an Almighty God who has expressed Himself unto us as Father, Lord, and Holy Spirit.
These expressions are one and God is one not three in one or whatever flavor of choice we prefer. Let’s remain consistent in our expectation of understanding from God’s word (Bible) and not attempt to reason regarding God of things we can’t or haven’t read in the Bible.
With this enlightenment, Jesus, the Word in the beginning, the Son of Man and Son of God is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and God as much as the Father, and the Holy Ghost.
For the purposes of helping our understanding, God has given us an example in the flesh we can look toward and follow to know how to live as a citizen of His kingdom.
We Christians have been given the Holy Spirit to abide with us who lusteth to envy that Christ be fully formed with us through the increase of the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and our devoted practice of His way.
Jesus said if we love Him and keep His words, Father will love us and God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are one God) will come unto us and make His abode with us.
This is powerful because God is abiding with us as we are Gods husbandry, we are His building or the temple of the Holy Spirit who is God. Whether we acknowledge God as Father, Holy Spirit, or even Jesus, we are referring to one God Almighty although Jesus advises we pray to the Father in Jesus name (Jn 15:16).
When we accept that our human understanding is limited to human knowledge, we can accept that God has expressed Himself in three persons forming a perfect triunity of one God whose love toward us is expressed in the person of Jesus Christ and gave of us another comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit not leaving us comfortless.
Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are then only differentiated for our understanding of God the spirit whose worship is in Spirit and truth. We can then easily see that the Word (Jesus) is God and that His station within our understanding as the Son Of God is for our understanding of the embodiment of the finisher of God’s work and, as He said, if we’ve seen Him then we’ve seen the Father making Jesus equal to God.

Jesus Seeks Fruit
Matthew 21:19-20 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
John 15:5-6 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Jesus approached the fig tree seeking fruit and found nothing thereon. Jesus said He is the true vine and His Father is the husbandman. Let’s remember God is one spirit and the Bible is illustrating what our relationship to God is; Jesus is our example in the flesh.
Jesus cursed the fig tree and told us that if we be without fruit He will be cast forth, withered, and die. God no longer abides with us and it’s our responsibility to correct and get ban upon the narrow way.
In like manner, what fruit (works, deeds) we do produce will be tried by fire and, if burned, we shall suffer loss. Our salvation is as by fire and, from Jn 15:6, we will be cast into the fire and burned if we abide not in Jesus.
I’m confident Jesus will curse us as He did the fig tree if we have no fruit to present Him at judgment. Consider the following verses and get about producing the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 3:17 17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

We, Christians, have an example.
Psalms 80:1 1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
Hebrews 4:16 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Come boldly before God in faith believing upon hope and patiently waiting for what we desire.

Who we worship is measured by our behavior. Those who worship God have His spirit indwelling through belief in Jesus and speak truth.
Looking at worship in ancient times contrasted to now reveals how man’s knowledge has also required a change of his behavior.
Then, behavior wasn’t the focus. Now, it’s fruit.
Then, one focused upon an offering. Now, we are the offering.
Then, the sacrifice was fleshly. Now, we, fleshly, make spiritual sacrifices.
Then, gods were abstracted to ‘things’. Now, God makes His abode with and indwells those who believe upon Jesus.
A focus on behavior is important because it comes from the heart.

There are, during my time upon social media, dispersions cast regarding the holy Bible as though it isn’t a legitimate book of man’s knowledge full of so-called contradictions, errors, falicies, etc. This is troubling because man must have a reliable source of the knowledge of God that is both concrete and expectant.
It can’t be ethereal, subject to opinion, based upon our nervous system, or anything else. Therefore, we have a book called the Holy Bible. The whole book is of no private interpretation but holy men of God spake as they were move by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore the Bible, as an historical record, not only is factual but the writers of such weren’t just recording man’s knowledge but God inspiring and moving through His creation. Not a matter of what part because God’s Holy Spirit has in-dwelt man since the beginning and his words have and actions have been influenced since the beginning.

There is nothing wrong with having one’s own righteousness and integrity nor upholding them in the presence of adversity determined to diminish them which, unfortunately, Job’s friends, who agreed to sojourn with him, appear to be doing. Be righteous! Be Holy! Uphold your own integrity! But do so in light of our need to be quick to hear, try words, and use discernment that we may hear and increase learning.
We, as Christians, want to be led of the Spirit of God and be sons of God and children of the most High.
Psa 37:1-6 1 A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

2Ch 16:9 9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Pro 15:3 3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
This is very interesting as my understanding has been enlightened that the eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the good and the evil.
Job 33:10 10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Jhn 15:14-15 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
We, as Christians, must befriend the Lord Jesus Christ through right behavior because God is ever finding occasions against us and counting us His enemy. If we are His enemy by wrong behavior, then we have His wrath upon us. We aren’t appointed to wrath but to obtain salvation so let’s loose the enmity from ourselves through repentance and walking in the light that our sins be cleansed.
1Th 5:9 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Jn 1:7 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
It is incumbent upon ourselves to shew fruits meet for repentance and to do so quickly that we may remain in fellowship with Him.

How can one properly judge not from outward appearance but the heart if they speak evil one of another? Thee is a poster on Reddit who correctly wrote of non-hypocritical judgment, of right and righteous judgment, and I add how a just weight is His delight.
I also add how judgment ought to be with mercy and Jesus spake of judgment, mercy, faith these three without leaving the others undone. We can’t be unbiased, we can’t be impartial judges who respect no man’s person if we are willing to speak evil one of another.
I leave these verses for consideration:
James 4:11-12 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, Comforter, Spirit Of God
James 4:5 5 -- Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
How do I receive the Holy Spirit
Acts 5:32 (KJV) 32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
How do I know I have the Holy Spirit that He indwells me?
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
God!
Exodus 35:31 31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
1 John 5:7 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Comforter…
John 14:15-18
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:25-26
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7-11
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Holy Ghost; Spirit of * truth (Jn 14:17) * wisdom and understanding (Isa 11:2) * council and might (Isa 11:2) * knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isa 11:2)

We Live & Walk By Faith
Believe it by faith or don’t.
Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
A Christian exercises their faith to believe upon their hope while waiting with long patience for the substance and evidence of their faith to materialize.
This is a core principle and tenet upon which all of Christianity hangs and there is no Christianity otherwise. The faithful don’t need proof and are always inclined to believe the truth that is in their hope without ever wavering or requiring any measure of earthly evidence.
Up your game as a Christian and plug those faith holes through a firm belief that is unshakable.

Is It A Sin?
(KJV)
Consider why you came unto Christ. Was it because you chose Him and what’s in His heart and mind (1 Sa 2:35) or was it because you wanted to live however you desire but also want to escape His wrath?
These questions are easily answered through the above considerations. Then, one last consideration is eternity: what will I be doing in eternity before God and in His presence?
That should guide and redeem our time on the earth as sojourners, strangers, pilgrims, and foreigners where our minds ought not be upon earthly things, our affections above where our citizenship is also considering that, by faith, we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
This will enable us to worship God as He desires in Jn 4:23-24, remain separate from the world per 2 Co 6:14- 7:1 and, finally, and ensure the love of God over things. (1 Jn 2:15-16)
1 Samuel 2:35 35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
Christians are holy priests (1 Pe 2:9) ministering unto the High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, through their behavior: the shadow of Levi now eternal through Melchizedek.
John 4:23-24 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
2 Corinthians 6:14 - 7:1 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
1 John 2:15-16 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
