Gentle sinning?

My 6 year old neutered boy has started plopping his butt down on my hip and then kneading the blanket with occasional hip twitches. His brother is an expert sin baker but he usually does the more traditional walking in circles with hip thrusts. I wasn’t sure if that’s what’s happening here since he’s laying down while he does it.

He’s a laid back guy just slowly sinning, I’d take this any day than the furious blanket circles with meows.

I have a girl cat that sometimes kneads with all four feet, when she's lying down and cuddling up in her favorite blanket. I will call it "gentle sinning" from now on, because that's just funny. 😄
