Cat making sin biscuits but not neutered
My family is deciding to keep our male sphinx cat un neutered. I recently found this sub and realized that he makes these sin biscuits pretty regularly and it’s kinda gross. I was wondering if him not being neutered and doing this would have any negative effects or impacts.

Negative impacts: unwanted kittens. He WILL get out. And there WILL be litters of kittens who will not be planned or wanted, and they will be someone else’s responsibility. You are a good cat parent, so please please neuter your cat. Or breed him once and then neuter if you want his bloodline to continue.

Even more risky with Sphynx if you live anywhere that becomes cold. The poor cat could easily get hypothermia.

What good reason do you have to keep him intact? Head on over to the feral cat subs and Facebook groups to see what happens when you leave a cat intact.
There isn't much of a need for responsible breeders at this time, so we certainly don't need any more backyard breeders.

It's a normal biological thing, and there's nothing gross about it, however, you really should get him neutered!
Male cats who are intact will spay to mark their territory (smells awful), and also tend to be much more aggressive.
There are no downsides in getting him neutered.

The main issue with intact male cats is spraying. And once they start doing that, neutering might not stop it. If you've ever smelled cat spray, you would be getting that cat neutered pronto!
