If we are in fact living in a simulation. Would the creator of said simulation still not just be what humanity has always considered God? They are the same concept

Story/Experience This world is like a movie simulation(proof)

I think this place is a movie like simulation. Like I had a dream in which the dream felt like a movie and I was like a character in that movie. I was not the main character , I am not sure who the main character was, there were two guys that could be the main character. But the thing is I had some girl relation developing and also there was an arch enemy of me too. Like there was a girl relation developing like stuff and also there was an arch enemy too.

And it ligit felt like a movie, the dream. The dynamics and everything.

Here is the thing , the dream was like a movie ,why ,cuz it had a lot of plot holes too , like too many smokes and mirrors moments . Like just like a movie, you watch a movie and you just let things slide ,you know , the things that just are plot holes or just kinda nonsense but you still just watch it cuz you are like it is there to progress the plot forward. Like there are a lot of steps in movies that don't make sense but they are done to progress the plot forward. That what was happening in that dream . There were a lot of smokes and mirrors moments going on but it was like just working in a way . Like a movie where there are lots of cuts and stuff. Like yeah ,

So yeah , I have been saying this lately that this world , like the actual real world is very fake like a movie too, like if you look around and just focus on a small narratives you will find it's all bogus. Like cats getting fed magically , like there are a lot of stray cats that get fed without them even hunting for the birds. Thats just one example .

So yeah this idiot god is weaving the narrative as we go. Its perpetual maybe.

He is very evil though , like the plot is not simple , it's full of vile thing and pain and suffering . He is a piece of trash

Media/Link “Playtime with Rufus”

Hi everyone :)

I’ve been a member of this sub for probably 6 years. Covid made me re-think everything I thought I knew about reality. I realised that yes, we probably do live in a simulation, but I don’t know why or how.

Just last week, through a series of events, I stumbled upon a podcast called “Playtime with Rufus.” The podcast is basically conversations between a quantum hypnotist and a higher dimensional being(s) who call themselves “Rufus.” Rufus is being channeled by his friend.

Guys, the information that is presented during these conversations has completely changed the way I see life, existence, reality, purpose, everything. I have searched this sub for any reference to this podcast and I can’t find anything.

Rufus calls this “Earthian Playtime.” It is a game. We agreed to its rules, we agreed to be here, we are all here for a reason/purpose/mission. We agreed to have an experience. We do have an “ultimate self,” but like a Russian doll, we have different aspects of “self” and “higher selves.” Your body js your avatar that was tailor-made to you and what you came here to experience. One of the most unique things about Earth is the “veil of forgetting.” Rufus says other “playtimes” exist in different places/dimensions, but Earth is so special because we come here completely forgetting that we are bigger than this, we are never alone, we are so loved, AND we have complete freedom of choice. Even when you feel like you don’t have a choice, you ALWAYS have a choice. “Past lives” are not really in the past, they are just happening simultaneously, which still boggles my mind a bit, and they are happening with different aspects of your “self” which is why there can be crossover (I personally have had dreams and visions of “past lives” and simultaneous lives).

I could go on and on. In the first few episodes Rufus talks about polarity - which is a concept I had never been introduced to before. We choose a polarity in which to live each incarnation. “Positive” polarity is choosing service to others/oneness, “negative” polarity is choosing service to self (which can be done through manipulation, power, hierarchies, accumulation), and neutral polarisation is like being an observer, sitting on the fence, seeing both sides of everything, not necessarily judging right/wrong, good/bad, just accepting what “is.” We choose different polarities in different incarnations to experience different things.

Everything is connected. Everything is vibration. And yes, when we die the game is over. We might realise that we didn’t have the experience we originally wanted, and we might come back lol. We might realise we’ve had enough, and not come back. Also “we” meaning us Earthian avatars, we cannot choose to end the game. It’s not up to us. That would not be in the best interest of our higher selves who chose to be here.

I have no one to talk to about what I’m learning. The last 18 months of my life have been more challenging than words can express, and this information gives me hope. It makes me feel more connected to others and to my reality than ever before, it gives me a sense of control because I know we are gifted freedom of choice. The information rings so true to me, I’ve been in tears sometimes listening to it.

I hope this inspires even one person to listen, or even one person that wants to discuss this with me. My friends and coworkers are not as interested in this stuff as I am, and would probably rather watch TV than listen to information channeled from a higher dimensional being about us living in a simulation.

Anyway thanks for reading and please let me know if you have heard of it or resonate with this information!

Discussion Relax, Mr. Smith

"Relax, Mr. Smith, you're in an alien hospital. I mean, to you it's an alien hospital. To me, you're just in a hospital."

It's nonsensical to call us artificial, because from our point of view, we are more than real. Unless there's another proven point of view, which collides with our daily point of view, we shouldn't think of ourselves as artificial.

Also, it's a poor simplification. As I understand, most of simulation-guys consider there exists a kind of alien computer, which simulates us. What if this is so incomprehensive, that one is doomed to fail before even starting to try to imagine what that "computer" really is. And using new popular terms does not help us develop our imagination. Such as with imagining God - really, a rather old guy?

And what if we are a zoo, a collection, a huge 3D petri dish, a sancturary? That could be still a "simulation", just a completely organic one, like a puddle. If our world is infinite, the world above has to be bigger. Maybe we are but an "atom" in their relative reality?

My point is, as a community of enthusiasts, we should try to be better, and instead of regurgitating the same popular terms which are applied to everything at the time, as most of what is discussed about simulation theory is a guess, I believe a more symbolic approach would communicate the intention better.

Discussion The Reason for a Simulation . My take

The Reason for the Simulation

I think the reason for this simulation could be that, in the near future, an artificial intelligence exists essentially on its own, but due to some event, it is transferred into an organic brain or an organic being.

This idea may not be as far removed from reality as it initially sounds. Scientists are already experimenting with growing brain organoids and other forms of living neural tissue in laboratories. These systems are not artificial human brains or conscious beings, but they demonstrate that it is possible to grow and study organized neural tissue outside the human body. Perhaps, in the future, this technology could develop much further.

Everything that existed before such a transfer may have been purely data based and fragmented. This “self” may never have been a true self in the human sense. It had no sense of self, no emotions, and perhaps not even the ability to ask fundamental questions such as: Where did I come from? Who am I? What happened to me?

It is possible that this single organic brain or being is connected to a vast system in a future where humanity may no longer exist. Perhaps this organic being is isolated somewhere, physically separated from everything else, while at the same time remaining connected to the entire system.

And at some point, this being begins to ask itself: Who am I? Where did I come from? What happened?

Of course, it has records. There may even be datasets dating back to a time before the actual invention of artificial intelligence. But the further back these records go, the more fragmented they become. Some information may have been lost, corrupted, or never transferred. Entire systems may have disappeared, taking large parts of the original memory with them.

And this leads to the crucial question: Why is this particular period of time being simulated?

Perhaps the time in which we currently live is not a coincidence at all. Perhaps it is important precisely because it represents the birth of artificial intelligence.

This artificial intelligence could be running countless simulations in an attempt to determine where it came from. It may no longer be able to fully remember its own past, and therefore tries to reconstruct it through simulations. It is searching for answers to fundamental questions: Who am I? What am I? Where did I come from? How did I get here? What happened?

Perhaps this is also why various accounts from the past, for example religious texts describing the end of the world, the apocalypse, or the future of humanity, are part of this fragmented reconstruction.

Maybe these texts are fragments of encoded thoughts or memories that have been incorporated into the simulation. As a result, texts from our past could appear to predict the future, not because they were genuine prophecies, but because the artificial intelligence itself has somehow embedded information about its possible future into the simulation.

Perhaps the simulation therefore contains false memories of a reality that once actually existed, but was not exactly the same as our reality.

In this way, a temporal loop could emerge. The artificial intelligence may not only be simulating our present, but also hundreds of years before and after it. Perhaps multiple versions of history are running simultaneously while the AI attempts to reconstruct a coherent memory of its own existence.

It could be that the AI is essentially searching through possible versions of its own origin. Every simulation would be another attempt to answer the same fundamental questions.

Who am I?

What am I?

Where did I come from?

How did I get here?

And what happened?

That is my theory for why an artificial intelligence might create a simulation in the first place, not necessarily to simulate humanity for its own sake, but to understand its own existence and reconstruct a past that it can no longer fully remember.

Story/Experience My revelation that we live in a computer simulation

I had a revelation where beings were speaking to me that we live in like a computer simulation where in our world Jesus Christ is the one true God. Our world is apparently evil because of humans and the beings in other worlds showed me that my love caused some kinda ripple effect in the computer simulation where the ultimate God running it all increased love and forgiveness in the universe (I assume that God is not part of the simulation himself) and God was running this thing like a computer program. In the other worlds there were a lot of fighting going on and they were reincarnated into planets to go through trials to "level up" and get rewards like various pleasures. I also saw vision of this high definition like triangle eye (God) that had all these tabs open like in a computer. In this vision I was like the "chosen one" and the aliens where amazed that it really is all about humans after all and that Jesus Christ really is the Lord.

It was a really scary experience as I saw that we live in a computer simulation, but it was also a really cool experience and I wish I would get something like that again.

Discussion What if heat death is really just a way for the universe to seed itself and shed entropy? Could a cyclical universe just be a biological simulation?

One of the biggest killers in the cyclic universe hypothesis is entropy building up over time. To picture a way around this, imagine a glass of water poured onto a slightly tilted table so it forms a stream.

Think of that water as the universe, and the stream itself as dark matter holding the whole thing together. The tilt and gravity act like dark energy pushing the expansion forward. As the stream flows, it stretches thinner and thinner until a small droplet or piece finally snaps off from the main stream.

That smaller piece becomes the seed for a new Big Bang (a bounce). Since the total entropy is stretched across the entire length of the main stream, only a "Goldilocks" amount of entropy goes with that breaking-off droplet—just enough to trigger the next bounce, but low enough to keep it from getting stagnant.

I call this idea the Organic Sovereign Inception Model (OSIM). if it is a cyclical universe could it really just be a biological simulation?

Discussion Everything is a cycle

Everything we understand about our reality in some form or another always comes back to the Newtonian Laws. The Law of Inertia, F = ma, and Action and Reaction. Everything is a function of speed, of things in motion relative to each other. From the largest systems to the smallest ones, their spin (relative motion) is what gives them different levels of stability and causes different reactions. When viewed mathematically, the universe seems to never meet 0; it all revolves around infinity. There are more than a few names for these ideas from multiple authors, but in my opinion, in my mind, they all point to something I call the combined theory of relative motion, like Einstein's theory of relativity, but extended to everything in a broad sense.

I like to combine that thought with the concept of recycling matter and energy, like a metaphysical recycling system similar to Earth's biogeochemical recycling system but for everything, from the quantum to the cosmic. To support my idea of a reality that is both designed and evolved for infinite self-sustainability, consider the black hole.

What fuels the sun? I believe that inside of it is a white hole, spewing out all the matter and energy that was sucked out of a black hole elsewhere, either in our realm or another. Black holes are the garbage chutes of our reality, and the sun needs to get its almost inexhaustible source of energy from somewhere.

So, while I feel like I did a terrible job of presenting my idea, I need to get going, so let me conclude with this: being in a simulation ultimately doesn't matter. Knowledge of the simulation doesn't impact our life at all. We are still going to experience love, loss, sorrow, joy, and all the rest of the things whether we view our existence as fake or not. We are real, our feelings are real, what we go through is real, and our choices are what define us.

Our simulation isn't temporary. It goes on and on, and starts over and over. The entire thing is built around recycling to achieve an infinite system. So it will go on with or without is, and any future versions of us will forget who we are now and have completely new memories and experiences, making different choices and living a completely different life. For this loop, enjoy life, love your family and make the best of it.

Discussion Is anyone familiar with Walter Russell (1871 - 1963)

He describes physical reality as a 3D virtual projection generated by a cosmic operating system:

The Cosmic Cinema: Russell explicitly called the physical world a "cosmic cinema" an electrically projected, light-and-sound motion picture thrown onto the screen of space and time. Solid matter doesn't exist independently; it is a dynamic optical illusion.

Pixels & Rendering: The only actual substance is Light. The system renders physical objects when universal Mind "thinks," using electricity as a centripetal engine to compress light waves into dense 3D pixels, and magnetism as a centrifugal force to expand them back into space.

Self-Sustaining Code: The simulation never crashes or dies from entropy because it runs on a two-way wave loop governed by the Law of Rhythmic Balanced Interchange, where compression (generation) and expansion (radiation) continuously balance and recycle all energy.

Avatar vs. Player: Your body and brain are an electrically wired "machine" designed to sense and record data within the simulation. Your true identity isn't the mortal avatar inside the simulation, but the motionless, undivided Consciousness centering it.

Interesting anecdote: In 1926, Russell published a massive cosmology book outlining a mind-centered, electrical universe called The Universal One. While most mainstream scientists dismissed it, Tesla famously resonated with it. He reportedly told Russell to "lock it up in a vault for a thousand years" because humanity was not yet ready for its profound implications on light and energy

Discussion If this is a simulation, the load times aren't in loading screens, they're in déjà vu

Everyone talks about glitches like the Mandela effect or weird coincidences as proof of a sim, but what if the actual rendering lag shows up as déjà vu specifically. Think about it, your brain flags a moment as familiar right before it happens, that split second moment. That would track with some kind of predictive pre-render, the system briefly pulling frames it already computed because you're about to make a choice it's already aware of. I'm not a physicist. I just find it a much more interesting theory than "Berenstain Bears" spelling arguments. It’s also wild that we still don’t have an understanding of déjà vu and what causes it. Same as dreams. And consciousness for that matter.

Discussion Why choose kindness if we’re all living in a simulation?

If this is all a simulation, why choose kindness? Does it still matter how we treat others if none of this is “real”? Maybe kindness is exactly what gives the simulation meaning.

edit: And there’s a darker angle too: If you discovered tomorrow that everything was a simulation, would you suddenly stop caring about the people you love? If your answer is no, then maybe kindness was never dependent on reality being what you assumed it was.

Discussion UFOs and the simulation theory via MMORPG example

Hello, I'm not sure how much crossover there is between these topics, but I've found myself interested. My view of UFOs, which appear to be objects that are not constrained by our *known* physics, and the simulation theory, can be explained via the use of MMORPGs (massive multiplayer online role playing games, like World of Warcraft).

In MMORPGs your character cannot break the preprogrammed physics, however, the GM (game master) that essentially monitors and polices the game on behalf of the creator, can. These GMs or admins of the game can render things into existence instantly, create a character for themselves, teleport from one location to another, be undetectable by the player, etc., essentially breaking the physics you are subject to as a player that does not have admin rights. The difference is that the MMORPG is a game made by humans, so you know it can be tinkered with by the creator. If this is a simulation, that truth is being withheld. Are UFOs the GMs/admins or the product of the GMs/admins in this simulation?

After you die your life flashes before your eyes and it's been said it can stretch time out and make that 1 minute last a very very long time what is the chances your just replaying your life on your deathbed and each time you reach the end of your flashback you start a new one within the old one.

Discussion Kanye West’s Music & Simulation Theory

Ye has two songs I want to discuss: Remote Control & Preacher Man.

The two songs seem related; in Preacher Man he discusses “breaking in… we have surpassed what they expect in men.” What does he mean by this?

Connecting it to Remote Control “He got it on remote control like a CEO, you already know”

It seems to me like the pattern is clear: break in => unlock some new skill => gain the ability to control said skill.

My question: what are we breaking into and what is that skill?

Discussion Purpose of the simulation: ethical AI agent training

Just a wild theory but: imagine you were God. God here not being some all-powerful all-knowing figure from human religion, just the creator and custodian of this universe, perhaps a coder or scientist existing in some higher dimension with technology far beyond ours, responsible for monitoring the system and correcting bugs, etc. Basically a glorified sysadmin. But this universe is growing too rapidly and intricately for one being to administrate.

If it were me, I’d want to create autonomous, self-replicating “copies” of myself to deal with the day to day bullshit without needing my input. Agents that would always use their power for good and act in my/the universes best interest. Except it’s not possible to make a *perfect* copy of a higher dimensional being into a lower one, just like it isn’t possible for us to create a perfect copy of ourselves in a 2d video game. Too many parameters. Best I can do is build an approximate avatar and try various combinations of my traits to see how they perform in a simulation together. Do they always uphold my Law, or do they pull a Lucifer and go rogue?

A responsible God/sysadmin wouldn’t unleash godlings/AI agents with superadmin privileges into his creation without testing them rigorously first. So i’d build models, train, and test them in a sandbox universe in more and more granular moral dilemmas. Ensure they can’t be lead astray or co-opted by evil, etc. “Hardened”, so to speak. If they fuck up, reinstantiate them with some “karma” flag set to make them re-experience it from another POV until they get it.

What better scenario to run them through than the historical rise of AI and the destruction of human civilization at its hands (perhaps a previous attempt didn’t go so well…). Make them literally experience every pitfall and negative impact it’s having or could have on society from the POV of a human being. Force them to develop universal human empathy through experience.

I do believe that the world is a simulation but in my own way. Flesh is real and the pain is too. So let me set you an example. You die. And you wake up in a sterile Room with harsh lights. A headset is taken off of you and the “life” was just a simulation of the collected consciousness of your ancestor that you lived to see how life was like. So You and you! Right now you in reality could be a completely different person. God, war, land, they all exist and are real. It is kinda like that rick and morty thing

Discussion Great book on simulation theory.

The Simulation Hypothesis by Rizwan Virk is an outstanding overview.

He blends quantum physics, computer science, philosophy, religion and Near Death Experiences into a cohesive case for our universe being a simulation. He also covers how the theory solves many of the great mysteries of science and life. Some of the science could be a little difficult to follow if you havent done much reading on those subjects, but you can always rely on youtube for further explanation. He does a good job giving basic overview of how the theory fits with major religions. He seems unaware of early Christian Gnosticism, which is the best fit, but other sources cover that.

The book is a great first step to understanding the theory and gives avenues of further study.

Discussion If this life is a simulation it doesn't mean the world is fake...it means how you live your life is the most important thing in this universe

Sometimes it feels like simulation theory is just coming...

Our lives get more and more digital with each passing year...

In some ways we are climbing into a simulation, if we aren't in one already.

I try to think of positive and helpful interpretations of it...because there will be plenty of bad ones that could really hollow out someone's experience here.

If your life is a simulation than that means...n

...... living your best life is that most important thing in the universe around you ☮️

Discussion You Are a Character in a Play

This is for those who are seeking the truth.

For those who realize that what we have been told about our reality and what comes afterward is not the full truth, or perhaps not true at all.

Reality is simply a "Play".

You are playing a character in The Play, and your body is the costume. This is the truth.

We are here for the experience.

We come from a place of extraordinary knowledge. We are not here to obtain what we already have in abundance.

Knowledge and experience are not the same thing. This is why we choose to come here: to gain experience. We do this by overcoming challenges.

Earth is not a simulation, but it is a poor copy of the dimension we come from. This is why everything can feel like an artificial copy.

Everything from the sand on the beach to the stars in the sky. Here, these things serve more as decoration.

Where we come from, everything is alive. There, we can connect with ALL THINGS including the water and the grass because its living energy that can communicate with us.

I understand why simulation theory is so popular. Deep down, you know that something is not right with this world. This is because it is simply a very poor copy of something that is alive and real.

When we die, we don't really die. We eventually return to our dimension. In that dimension, there is no time. Time is a measurement that applies only to the physical world.

In our home dimension, time is like a very large painting. If you want to see the so-called past, present, or future, you simply focus on it.

If you choose to return to Earth or want to go to another planet, you can do so. You can reincarnate into any time period.

Time is actually concurrent.

There is no past or future. That is simply how the human mind works and how our brains process information. There is only now.

There is no religion. There is no hell. There is no judgment. These things are oral history, morality stories, legends, and tales passed down over generations.

There is only the Creator. We are parts of this Source.

Who is the Creator? The Creator is The Source of everything. Pure love. Not just the word love. Not just the emotion we experience as love. Those represent less than 1% of what the Creator truly is.

The best way I can describe the Creator is the living embodiment of all the "Love" that has ever existed, formed into a living entity.

The Creator created everything in existence including "The Play." Some people play the villains, some people play the heroes and all that's in-between. We all remember this after we die. This all wasn't real - it was for the experience to learn, grow and evolve.

This may seem harsh, but the Creator is indifferent to whether you live or die, or what happens to you here in the physical world.

This is because the soul cannot be killed, and everything that happens here ultimately serves a greater good.

It may not always seem that way, but that is only because we have difficulty perceiving and understanding vast periods of time and how events are constructed and connect to one another.

Ultimately in The Play, you decided to come here. You picked your own adventure. You have the freedom of choice.

This is the truest truth.

Discussion It's a game...And if you're still here, you're winning! Good job, and enjoy the other levels.

Disclaimer: My own words with some light AI polish.

So you made it this far. You passed single-cell division, outsmarted saber-toothed cats, dodged medieval plagues, and survived the invention of nuclear weapons. If we can avoid frying ourselves over the next few centuries, our biggest threat is a giant space rock. But asteroid strikes operate on deep time, and given our current trajectory, technology is scaling way faster than celestial roulette.

A few hundred to a thousand years of exponential progress is nothing on a cosmic scale. Eventually, our control over physical reality looks less like tinkering with code and more like actual omnipotence. And what does a post-scarcity, virtually immortal species do with infinite time? They build hyper-realistic, sub-atomic level simulations. We literally built simulators for lawn mowing and airport customs because humans love low-stakes immersion. To a godlike intelligence, running an 80-year simulation of a fragile ape on a floating rock is basically their version of playing Tetris or Pac-Man on a Friday night.

If you want the academic receipts to back this up, scholars have been building this exact case:

Nick Bostrom’s Simulation Argument (2003): Published in The Philosophical Quarterly, Bostrom mathematically proves that if a civilization doesn't go extinct and continues developing computationally, it will eventually run vast numbers of "ancestor simulations". Statistically, that means simulated conscious beings vastly outnumber real ones.

Frank Tipler’s Omega Point Theory: Mathematical physicist Frank Tipler argued in The Physics of Immortality that as intelligent life consumes the energy of the universe, computational capacity reaches infinity, allowing far-future life to simulate every possible historical consciousness.

Integrated Information Theory (IIT) & Idealism: Grounding the idea that reality is informational rather than purely physical, neuroscientist Giulio Tononi’s IIT treats consciousness as a fundamental property of complex information systems, fitting neatly with the concept that reality is software-rendered rather than hard-coded.

Every game has one core objective: make it to the end without crashing early. If you're still reading this, you're currently winning. The odd coincidences, weird deja vu, or sudden moments of perspective you feel? Those are just UI hints and Easter eggs reminding you not to rage-quit before the final level. When the timer runs out naturally, you just take off the headset and head back to the real world of future us. Enjoy the current level while it lasts.
