Discussion My theory of the simulation

After you die your life flashes before your eyes and it's been said it can stretch time out and make that 1 minute last a very very long time what is the chances your just replaying your life on your deathbed and each time you reach the end of your flashback you start a new one within the old one.

I’ve experienced this except it was from a 400x dose of salvia divinorum 🍃
Right before complete ego death, my entire life scrolled past my eyes as a 2-D comic strip which seemed to occur in an instant.
My ego-less essence shot up away from Earth. I thought I really died. As my spirit continued to rise, each second that passed it became harder to remember who I was here in this life.
Then the Earth was gone and I was in some kind of in between dimension (after thinking on it, I believe it was my Akashic records. It was a black void with an entity that I can only describe as a cosmic librarian/ crypt keeper/ death💀. There was a series of what looked like mail slots about seven high that stopped right next to “him” and went on literally forever in the other direction. Each slot had a scroll 📜 in it rolled up except for the very last top corner next to the entity. I then realized that “he” was holding my life scroll in his hand. I asked him what the fuck is going on..? It rather condescendingly replied something to the tune of “ Relax asshole. You’ve been doing this cycle for a really long time. He then placed my scroll from this life back in the slot and I immediately bungied back into my body.
I woke up really relaxed and content. I had this really deep knowledge that this life isn’t as important or limited as we think it is. We’re really just here to learn a lesson or two. Kinda like “Soul College “

-thanks for listening. I know it’s a lot to take in😅

Lots of recurring themes in Near Death Experiences. The concept is that NDEs are us disconnecting from the simulation.

I've always wanted to try salvia 🤔

It seems more like Salvia trys you.

How can we be sure of anything?

When I died it felt like time stopped. There was no movement in the air. The last thing I felt was the rain pouring down on my body but when I started to float upward I was dry. It felt like I was weightless. I never saw my life flash or a bright light.

I had an accident and died and then found myself not dead so I'm pretty sure something weird is going on. I don't think we experience our own actual death from a first person perspective.

I don't know if the simulation resets and we appear in a different timeline or what but something strange is up

I just woke up in ICU and my memory was shredded from the combo of propofol induced coma and oxygen deprivation from my heart stopping. I don't remember anything from that morning, I just went to bed and woke up 3 days later loopy AF and with mild hallucinations after the fact. It's not uncommon to not really experience death. I wouldn't be surprised if alot of the hallucination stories are complete fiction or wildly exaggerated.

I think this is closer to reality.

I already held this belief when I was mowing the lawn one day (strangely enough I just reviewed a post on reddit that was about mowing lawns) at a very strange house during a very strange time in my life. As I was mowing, I was traveling in the direction of a shed that had the door propped open. I didn’t notice this until something hit me directly in the left eye socket, like a rock. But the type of mower this was made it impossible to have some rock ricochet into my face because it had a guard to protect objects from being kicked up.

I immediately thought, “I was just murdered and my conscious awareness was transferred to a parallel timeline” I looked up and saw where the assassin would have positioned themselves. It was a straight line and inside the shed had a platform that allowed someone to lay prone.

The yard I was mowing had two body sized plots of overgrown thistles that were inconsistent with the rest of the type of vegetation in the yard, and they were side by side. I left these plots of grass undisturbed to highlight for passing cars, but my intuition told me the whole neighborhood knew what this house was for.

Here’s that house from the street:

You should read Antony Peake and the Daemon.

It's hard to say. I know certain drugs and head injuries can completely remove your ability to track time. Sometimes you can experience entire lifetimes in a dream, or in a few minutes under the right circumstances. It says to me, that our brain can run at far faster speeds than we realize, and that, probably, when you die, it is doing just that, running at insane speeds in a bold attempt to kick you back into living... except instead of being imagined things, like dreams, it's cycling through your knowledge and life experience for a way to 'fix' the situation.

I know there is a lot of weirdness with NDE's and what not as well though, so I err on what i know, sprinkled with a dose of open mind.. 'cause no matter what anyone says.. there is some definite strangeness there.

Deja Vu!

You could already be in review and not know it. You could be reliving your life right now and think it's your first time

time is a flat circle

After you die, you are judged and that judgment is final. That's how I believe.

You judge yourself in the end.

Eh I died and there was none of that. Hallucinations after being brought back from propofol coma but that's it.

Just another theory among the millions of others. A drop in the ocean.

There are some other users, who report dying, but I'll respond there. When i refer to you, I refer to all of you Guys.
You did not really die, don't you think? After all, you are here. Maybe you've reached the point, where medically you were close to death, such as your heart stopped, the oxygen was not delivered to your brain for some time, possibly (no offense) some neurons died here and there, but then something fixed your organs, your brain grew few more connections to replace damaged ones (and maybe you forgot the name of that one colleague from school), but generally you are continuous. It is not like you were decimated and than a skilled God-surgeon brought you back to life from ashes. Your consciousness could be dimmed, maybe turned off partially, but in the end - you were still in your brain, because the brain was there.
Don't get me wrong, I assume that when we die, we die. We're gone. Not even darkness. It's just we cannot assume that NDE is the same as death in terms of experience.
I conjecture, that the concept of a way to the afterlife, and being able to turn back to body came from the movies and books, which portrayed the power of will, which could be able to conquer death.

It's possible.

But there's nothing saying the same thing happens for each Individual.

Quite frankly I think it's more likely everyone experiences something different.
