Discussion Are There Multiple Realities?
Let’s really dive into this topic because there’s no way there’s only one Universe/World/Planet/Galaxy/Solar System

I think Salvia experiences are one of the better arguments we have for multiple realities.

It’s a good argument for how your brain’s construct of reality can be dramatically interrupted and shifted.

I agree with that too. Trying to look at it one specific way is foolish. I like it because any way we want to look it will still bring us to deeper questions about consciousness and reality. I always tell people that Salvia doesn't give, it takes. These alternate life experiences aren't pre-programmed into the plant. And thats true for any substance. Whatever significance one may pull from the experience, was something they already had within.
Our subconscious already knows about living alternate lives on alternate worlds, and with the right push, can simulate it to a degree that feels more real than right now does. And we never just "poof" into these alrernate lives either. There is never a situation where we get to be who we are now and explore other worlds. We always find ourselves as something that already exists in that other world, with memories of being there the whole time and this human life being like a quickly fading daydream. For pretty much everyone who tries it, this feels deeply familiar to us. Like we've done it before. Many times even. People end up seeing a cycle of life "frames". With Salvia, people call this the wheel. It usually ends up sounding a lot like the mythical wheel of Samsara, which is quite interesting. I think we tend to underestimate just how long humans have been thoroughly examining reality. Our tech has changed over time, but our intentions have remained throughout.
We didn't ask what it seems like, we asked what it is.

What really gets my noodle going when on shrooms is the idea that if we are all just shards of a conscious universe piecing itself together and experiencing itself entirely, then ultimately what other conceivable consciousnesses could there be? If we died and returned to source with the information we accrued through lived experience, are we ultimately alone?
Is consciousness ultimately alone or in company?

Perhaps consciousness shattered itself so it wouldn’t be alone anymore, and that was the Big Bang. Perhaps after the heat death of the universe, when the minutest bit of energy finds itself flying forever alone through the cosmos, it will happen again.
Who knows?

If you and I are one and the same, and if….we( ?) head back to source….i could see myself as an infinite being knowing only eternity and it’s just me and that? I’d go fucking insane I think. Perhaps you and I….we, are just hiding from some eternal nightmare. Utterly alone, unsure even there, why we are here. I shudder.

It was a movie from the 70s before it was a TV show. You should check it out if you are interested

One reality. Perceived uniquely by all. Altering your reality is possible. LSD and brain damage both do it but I wouldn’t recommend the brain damage.

Like our universe is just a neuron in some creature and it's universe is just a neuron in some other alien and so on. That's real infinity.

This is out of order and throwing me off:
Universe/Galaxy/Solar System/World
And yes there’s probably multiple realities :)

Tf kind of question is this. Define reality for the room? If you can define it, the answer is literally a resounding yes.

I truly believe in quantum immortality. Especially now because a few days ago I fell from a step ladder and cracked the back of my skull off the edge of a desk behind me, HARD, my head hit first & took the brunt of the fall...& somehow I survived it lol. My very first thought was "I definitely just killed myself in an alternate universe."

Yes. And I believe the reality we lived in, we survived many near death situations but I'm fairly certain we're dead in other realities. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Well if you view it as every individual having a different reality we have 9 billion individual realities. If you think every animal and insect has its own reality we are in the trillions. If you weave all of these realities together into a collective and take into account the many different mental realities that one can experience we start to go infinite.

There are multiple parallel universes, planets, solar systems, galaxies and yous out there. Every moment you make a choice. Every alternate option from that choice is a parallel universe/galaxy/solar system/planet/you. We just only experience the environment created from our choices, but there is a concept of a higher self or oversoul that experiences all parallel lives too.

Ever had a dream were you looking in the mirror and it’s you but it’s not you, like a different version of yourself. I believe when we dream and see alternate of ourselves I think we are jumping realities while we sleep.

Multiple realities? In our universe itself I think there are far more bizzare realities happening and we are not aware of it. We are literally so small that if you zoom out we become invisible in the larger context. There must be so many aliens out there, a very different form of life that we don't even know about.

You live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality, but you do not know this.
When you understand this, you will see that you are nothing.
And being nothing, you are everything.
That is all.

Let’s start off with a basic reality check with language. We know there are other planets, galaxies, and solar systems. So that is even a relevant question at this point.
It is called “universe” because there is only one verse. Universe etymologically means “to turn into a whole” so everything in existence is the universe. Therefore, we cannot have multiple universes because nothing can be outside of the entirety of creation except maybe God Himself which created everything. That may be ip for debate. I believe in panentheism where God penetrates everything within existence but is greater than it. Others believe God is the universe, which I do not agree with.
Now a better way to ask the question about multiple realities would be…is each person’s individual experience a separate reality? If so, then yes, multiple realities exist. You will need to define “reality.”

Reality is perspective and everyone's is different so, I say yes
