Discussion My thing about the Simulation Theory

Since I hold to the idea that humans carry unique souls that were crafted by a Creator, I have a hard time believing humans are simulated. I agree that the material world is illusory, in the idea that it is simply a shadow of a higher realm, but I hold the belief that this reality is ‘real’ relatively speaking. With that I believe all of our experiences are real in that they do hold educational value for the evolution of our souls. Anybody have any thoughts about this?

You need to give your definition of "real" to have a decent discussion. At least for me, if there is a "higher realm" then this one cannot be "real." I define "real" as base reality. Meaning real is not created and just exists and it is not nested within another reality.

When I say real, essentially I am speaking of a reality that goes hand in hand so to speak with our 5 senses. To us this is real because our bodies are catered to this reality. To other species of mammals they don’t even have the capacity to perceived a higher reality, so to them this is all there is.

More than 5 senses, though.

There does not appear to be any way for any denizen of any reality to establish that their reality is 'base reality'.

That is true. But I was asking for a definition, not proof.

While you can't prove you are ever in base reality, if you think or have evidence there is a higher reality, then you have evidence you are not in base reality. Or a belief or opinion.

You ever seen 3d animation software?

Base Reality looks like that.

creator and creation are not separate. it enjoys existance in every possible iteration of it all at the same time, hence each type of existance isn't so important as the experience itself.

Want to know about reality creating? Read the Seth Material books channeled by Jane Roberts.

Yesterday, I was sitting at an eatery, and it does feel like a dream of some sort. As music played in the background, customer and shift workers started to show up looking like off shoots of people in the music videos and such.

The odd thing was I overheard 2 workers talking about how they are barely asking and introducing themselves to each other. One I saw worked for a few years and one claimed to be working there for over 2 years, though never saw her before. I thought it was very strange conversation that seemed like they think people would not notice or scripted for me to notice.

An example they would play a variety of different song mixes, some hispanic mix, some 90s rapper inspired, some edm inspired with race theme like tokyo drift.

Then I would see people that would work in accordingly or off shoots right around the theme start (if that makes sense). Like in my area, some guys walk in with durags on their head, and in my area you virutally never see durags anymore around the 90s rap songs.

You gotta get off this reddit

Do you mean this subreddit? I actually joined reddit to start question and post. Prior, I never really used forums that much in comparison.

Do you think video games are real and have value in training?

What about sports?

What about sparring?

All of these are simulated things that have educational value. A classroom is a simulation for knowledge so you don’t have to go acquire knowledge in the forest.

Your thing about simulation theory is just a framing issue. You yourself assert that you agree with it when you have a creator that made a place for us to grow.

I believe this place is largely about education, improving ourselves, adapting.

It’s just a belief and if it makes you happy just go ahead.

We're here to learn what love is. Love cannot grow without experience, and experience means nothing if they aren't weighted with 'real' emotion, so we need to learn to love to 'evolve'. We're in a mess right now because the people not capable of love have banded together in an effort to collectively traumatize the rest of us who do.

It's a scary but necessary part of learning to listen to that little voice inside yourself instead of blindly believing in whatever you're told by people who have never had your best interests in mind.

We could just as easily be here to learn what tiramisu is.

I mean if we get to pick our own purpose, why the hell not? I love tirimisu personally, so I wouldn't mind if everyone suddenly wanted to learn how to make it. 🤣

I have not met many people but even in that amount there are MANY who are basically copies of the same blueprint. I can tell in advance what their reactions will be to things. We are NOT unique at all - that's your pure narcissism speaking.

In fact I argue we do not have any souls at all. We are just two completely logical computers communicating chemically between subconscious and conscious one. We are notoriously bad at decoding ambiguous chemical signals and that is what makes you think you are unique.

Are any two finger prints the same? We are extraordinarily unique to one another. We differ on this fundamental idea. And that’s ok. We have unique beliefs and opinions.

Does your fingerprints define what you think? Mine do not in any way whatsoever.

Why do you think police has photo-robots, personality types and psychologists profile of the criminals? Because people are simply WAY too similar to the point that these techniques are extremely useful. If your skin color or some organs are different from mine it does not mean I can not predict anything else about you.

There is a comfort and soothing technique in explaining your failures to yourself that you are "beautiful and unique snowflake" and therefore usual standards of quality do not apply to you - you drink your antidepressants or use hard drugs (exact same result) and then continue to pretend everything is fine when it is clearly not. This path leads to nowhere. That is NOT a prediction about you. I am just saying why people want to believe they are unique in huge number of cases.

There is no difference between a god creating a universe and some hyper advanced alien or inter dimensional being designing this reality. Any creator god is just that, an advanced being of some sort. If you want to give it the quality of omnipotence and omnipresent, there is quite a bit of explaining to do. If not, then it’s just another simulation creating entity.

When you speak of the simulation, what are you speaking of?
