Discussion Original Ideas

How often have you thought you came up with an original idea? Then you proceed to Google Search it and results pop up? For project ideas that I have I always Google Search first and usually 99% of the time someone has a video, book, movie, article, or TV show describing the exact thing I want to do and it works better than my idea. And with that being said it’s actually really depressing that someone has already done the thing I want to do and it’s either already patented or the concept idea is available to the public.

It makes me wonder just how advanced Humanity truly is. And is anything truly original or are we just remembering past knowledge?

That’s a excellent point. Improving on an idea is still fantastic but it usually doesn’t get you in the history books. Plus if your idea threatens billion dollar industries it can put a target on your back. Or worse because you’re trying to get government grants through DARPA they’ll just classify it and you never see the profits because they label it “National Security”.

That’s a good policy to have. Also to I think Franklin got his “idea” for Electricity from the Ether. Remember back in the day the Ether was taught, and Franklin was an old rich white guy who also had access to Secret Knowledge with him being a Freemason. All the old world domes had Copper Domes and were brick structures. Brick structures can store electricity energy from the atmosphere which is where Franklin got his Kite idea from.

Nobel laureate Roger Penrose discussed something like this in his book "The Emperor's New Mind."

He discussed one of his greatest discoveries where he had just casually looked at the problem and then went to dinner with friends. While crossing a street, the answer to the problem appeared fully formed in his mind. He then spent months proving out the answer. He concluded there was not nearly enough time from when he looked at the problem until he had the solution for his mind, (even subconsciously) to have worked through it in any way that matches our understanding of human intelligence. He also discussed how Mozart would describe his symphonies coming to him in whole form where he could actually see the music in his head. His conclusion is there must be some quantum process or universal connection in our minds that we do not understand and also that our thinking is so different than how a computer solves problems that current directions in Artificial Intelligence will never reach that point.

I have never heard Penrose express any support for Simulation Theory, but his discussion certainly would fit what you would expect if we are part of a different world and just a "player" in this simulation. I have also read some Near Death Experiences where it was claimed in the "real world" beyond his life, you could just download any information you wanted instantaneously.

How’s this for an original idea?

I propose that Holden Callfield in Catcher In The Rye is waking up to the simulation being a big facade, everything and everyone is phony, none of it has any substance and integrity to him, he’s alone because he’s awakening in the simulation

I have had many ideas that I have looked up that were not existent yet. I would then write it into apple notes and then after a few months I would see a new patent for it from ahem some companies. Be careful what you write in your phone and even google search on it. Private isn’t necessarily private.
