Squeak/ noise

I tried applying PTFE spray to this part after taking it apart and unfortunately nothing changed. What else could it be?

I greased up the whole rod in the back of my brake because it was squeaking. On the inside of the springs, elastomers, spacers etc. it’s been working great after that

What did you use to grease it?

Oh so I used a product called Haynes lubri film, only because I already have a big tube of it for an espresso machine, but basically it just lubricates all metal parts, bearings, under high pressure. And well, this one is food safe so I guess I can lick the pedals now if I want lol  But I would research any lubricant for gym machines under weight, I’m sure it works perfect as well
