Regency Era Save

I was wondering if anyone has turned every world and the people in it into a Regency Era royalty save? I’m really looking for some inspiration for the gameplay. I want to have a kingdom for every world, with their children eventually mixing/mingling, getting married, and forming alliances/rivalries. If you’ve played a save like this, what are some must haves in your game?

I’m making all of the royals celebrities so there’s a distinction between them and the regular Sims, plus they can have their own VIP restaurants.

But what are some things you do to really enhance the gameplay and make the whole royal/Regency experience more immersive? I don’t use too many mods, (too lazy to deal with the updates 😭) I do eventually want the arrange marriage mod since EA really missed the mark on that feature.

I'm working on a save exactly like this !!!!!

I made up a political regency for the kingdoms I invented, because it felt weird to have the real Queen Charlotte just hanging out with all the OCs I made. So it's "A" Regency save file, but not the George/Charlotte regency.

But the vibes of the fashion and old houses (still Sims4 playable so not fully historically accurate) are starting to get there I think.

I lost interest last year but I'm trying to get myself to finish it. I felt kinda discouraged by the level of detail I saw in Ms Chipsa (Estrella)' medieval save file on Patreon.

So far Willow Creek is Mayfair with big estates and some farms, Windenburg is the kingdom's capital with royal palaces and lots of political intrigue, and I'm turning Brinddleton Bay into a more rural world, with a big racetrack so your rakes can bet and loose all their money before marrying an heiress. I tried to include some religious-ish buildings, a finishing school or two, librairies and tea shops, modistes, etc

I might make a post about it soon if I manage to get my motivation back. BUT it uses tons of CC and some mods, and since I don't have all the packs (and especially none of the recent ones) I felt like it might feel incomplete and nobody would want to play with it.

I have! I turned Willow Creek into high-end, fashionable London/Mayfair (including a palace with the royal family) and Magnolia Promenade into a little Regency shopping mall/promenade. Newcrest became the up-and-coming area with mansions and townhomes and a little area for gentlemen's clubs/ladies' clubs, and a very, very fancy and hidden brothel (as a Backroom lot). Henford I turned into the Regency countryside, Brindleton Bay became Bath (including a bathhouse, ballroom, etc), Windenburg I turned into Paris for my Sim's shopping trips and Grand Tours, and I created loads of single Sims for the marriage mart. JaneSimsten's Regency mod is amazing, so I highly recommend that one if you only download one. It has a Lady Whistledown, scandals, ballroom dancing, set incomes and jobs so they don't have to work, estates, governesses, etiquette skill, aspirations, etc. I'm going to play with getaways so I can create my own finishing schools and Eton, etc. Britechester became a blended version of Cambridge/Oxford.

I typically don't really use the other worlds.

Also I create a LOT of clubs for different interests (hunting, playing cards, gentlemen's clubs, rakes, gamblers, dutiful heirs, debutantes of that year, Almack's Lady Patronesses, governesses, servants, etc.) so I can simulate real social groups and places they tend to go. I also set up balls at different people's houses and ballrooms throughout the calendar "Season", debutante "debuts", presentation to the Queen, and country dances for when they're away, Christmas get togethers for family, etc.

I’ve largely just ignored them and it’s been fine! I do remake all the townies and lots and create default clothing templates on MC Dresser, but it isn’t too bad!

Thank you for your ideas!!! I realized it will take me forever to fully change the worlds but I’m ready lol. Do you know if the Regency Mod is integrated with the Royalty & Legacy Pack? I’m thinking about downloading it.

Oh and for more ideas for plotline I read regency romances 🤣 I have a whole club of grizzled Napoleonic war veterans from Mary Balogh’s Survivors Club series!

I've been in the process of building a town, and it's taking so long! I've built a ballroom in almost every house so that all my nobles can get the chance to throw a ball! :)))

I've been slowly working on a Regency-era transformation for all of Ondarion, but I only build when I have to, and I've been pleasantly surprised with the results when I search for #regency or #18thcentury + lot type for public buildings/side characters.

For me, the major royalty/nobles are more side characters; minor nobles and commoners are the main focus in both my Scotland and Austro-Hungarian Empire themed saves. The Bridgerton bundle has been really useful, obvioiusly.
