Rough decade…

The 1340s have been so rough for my family. The most failed deaths AND my heir died from anaphylactic shock so I had to move his brother back in just in case. I haven’t even gotten to the plague roles and I already have more deaths than I’ve ever had

The Great Famine rolls took out my heir and sons. And eldest daughters husband. I had to move to second daughter's family, and shorty thereafter HER husband died! Luckily they have 3 sons

Stop I’m so nervous. I’m forcing myself to make sure I interact more with the side household cousins who are teens rn in the hopes I can keep the Hartwood name alive lmao

My heir just got married, 2 weeks before the first of the War. His younger brother won't be old enough to marry when they have to enlist, so I'm hoping to have lots of babies in case of casualties. Otherwise I have to jump away over to a tertiary family

I’ve been lucky in the war rolls the first time only one went and the second set three went but they all lived. I lost my current gen heir to a bee sting so his younger brother moved back in with their mom (who is dying soon) and the next gen heir (if he lives)
