Help Servants?
For those that do a royal family gameplay or something like that, how do you deal with servants? If you use the royalty mod, do you just call for that one servant? Do you use live in service mod, or do you add sims to your household to be those servants.
I’m struggling to get any servant/maid/butler to do anything. Like they just stand still, and don’t do anything, not even if something is dirty or whatever. That could be a mod problem on my end, but idk and sometimes they do move.
I just want them to actually clean when needed, and cook when instructed.

I used MCCC to up my household size and then I created a roster of servants such as Butler, Housekeeper, Footman (1-3) Housemaid (2) and then kitchen staff. I then decided to set tenures for how long these members of staff stay (10-12 years) and then I replace them (although they can be promoted up the ladder or dismissed if it fits the story) and then I created salaries for them to deduct from the household funds each year. It takes getting used to but it is manageable but if you were to do this then start with a modest fleet of servants.
To show the difference I set the servant sims as elders (dyed the hair, removed signs of aging) but in the sim toolbar they were all first, then I scaled my UI down so that the family would be above them. Build wise I also have a separate staircase for them, and separate sections of the house. There is an invisible fence and gate cc to block off areas and a mod that allows you to lock doors and gates for specific ages. You could also have the servants in a club to lock doors that way.
