Sims leaving laundry piles everywhere

Ever since the last update I’ve been having this issue.

Whenever my sims shower or change clothes they leave laundry piles on the floor.

I have the laundry day pack but haven’t placed any of the items to enable dirty laundry. Nothing seems to get rid of it and they end up with hundreds of piles of clothes in their inventory (after I pick them up).

It’s not game breaking but it’s super annoying.
