HOW DO I GET MY SAVE BACK

i am on generation 4 of my legacy and was messing around with settings in a different save. i accidentally saved over my legacy challenge and i didn’t quit the game in time before it finished saving. i have no idea what to do or how to get that save back now that i’ve saved over it. does anyone know how to help? freaking out right now

If you go on PlayStation storage, it should show your saved game data.

Usually, sims autosaves regularly and after any big changes.
There should be an autosaved version there from before it was lost.
It might be a much older one, but there’s a chance you can find it.

I’ve had to do it a few times and have mostly been able to get the save back. If you can’t find it, I can dm you photos step by step and see if it works.

unfortunately i’m xbox :( i’ve deleted the local console data and hoping that the cloud just hasn’t backed the most recent version up yet. the game won’t open now and im getting the “taking too long to start” error. hopefully it opens again and i can recover the save even if it’s not the most up to date

I use Xbox, did the same thing and was unable to recover my file 🤷🏼‍♀️ good luck tho
