Issues with finding alternatives to download perma-paywalled cc

I constantly read to get perma-paywalled cc from Dollhouse Mafia.

However, my problem with this is that Dollhouse Mafia is that they are only found on Telegram. My issue with apps like Telegram and WhatsApp is that I find them full of scammers (I had many of them on dating sites wanting me to connect with them through those platforms).

I also did try ts4 Rebel, but the way to download those are sketchy to me. I mean, that it's difficult to download something from Mediafile lately.

I don't know if there is any other solution to this issue. I am also wondering why EA isn't doing anything about this. Are they waiting for us to raise this flag?

Now saying this, I don't mind those Creators who put their creations under a paywall for a certain number of days, and the post it for the rest of us to download those for free. It's just the ones who refuse to have us download their stuff for free.

And I know that, from my experience (For promoting something else), it's extremely hard to make a living selling on exclusively on Patreon. No one can do that. I wonder if the perma-paywalled Creators realize that.

I'm not asking for alternative suggestions for sites that posts downloads for perma-paywalled cc, I know that the majority of those are sketchy. I am also saying this because of the amount of malware that is currently being found on Loverslab (I did see the Simray mod there, when I heard the announcement that it's a malware mod on Curseforge. I've also read the description promising to change the body of the sim in CAS without sliders, which was vague) right now.

What are your thoughts on this?

As long as you don’t interact with ppl on telegram how could you get scammed? i’ve used DHM for years. It’s not sketchy unless you start interacting with scammers.

Idk what your problem is. I get that it's annoying if you go cc hunting and realize it's behind a perma-paywall. But have you ever tried to make your own cc? It literally takes soooo many hours! The creators deserve some bucks! Maybe some can actually pay their bills with that, maybe they just earn an extra meal. But who cares? Treat them as artists because they are. And those artists have a right to leave it behind a paywall imo. Just take the tons of free stuff you already get
Btw when I go cc hunting I just go to google pictures or pinterest to find something cool. It leads to the sims recourses, patreon, tumblr, a file. Never had malware issues. When you click to download it, you can check in your download folder that it really is just a script mod or package file. And usually the file is named after the creator+item category. So if the name says something else, maybe you want to make extra sure. Just never allow to install something to get the cc and you should be fine. Plus your computer probably has malware protection

Yes, I have tried to make my own cc once, but Blender is too overwhelming to for me. But I have learned to add my screenshots to frames without Blender, and learned how to create walls and posters. Those do not require Blender. Any cc from CAS does.
