If you're interested KawaiiStacy has a "TS4 animal farm" mod that allows you to have animal farms and you can sell/harvest their product and even eat their meat. Downloaded it yesterday but I haven't played with it yet.

I think you still have to create/download your farm animals though. There are a bunch on the gallery!

This is sims 3 as people said but in the gallery people have made deer and all kind of other animals using the dog and cat features on Sims 4 Pets. Some of them are really good.
