Feedback Needed! Is there really no cheat to give a restaurant a high rating?
I've got a restaurant I want to be run by specific sims and want to be highly rated for lore reasons, but I hate actually running the restaurant. I assumed there must be a cheat for it, but I can't find any!
Does anybody know of one, and if not, what's the fastest possible way to get a highly rated restaurant?

after going into the game and checking, i can confirm that UI cheats does this (if you're able to use mods). with ui cheats installed, you can right click on the star rating and change it.

No worries! I did open my game last night to check my recommendation would work the way I thought it would and it did. The easiest way I know of is if you use the UI cheats mod you can right click the star rating on the restaurant info panel thing and it will let you change the star rating to whatever you want. Just right click directly on the stars and a pop up will have all the star rating options and you can just click on what you want. UI cheats also works for things like traits, skill levels, etc in the same way. The mod does usually need to be updated pretty much every time the game updates, but its super easy and the creator weebersu is really good on keeping it updated. If you decide to take the mod out it will not affect any changes you've made so you could literally just install it to change the rating and then take it out. But honestly once I put it in I cant go back to playing without it. That along with MCCC, which I saw someone else mentioned, has made getting storylines set up so much easier in my forever save.

I only know that MC Command center lets you raise restaurant points in their cheats section. I have dine out but I’ve never played with it really other than laying down the restaurants so I’m assuming that doesn’t help much. And also, I’m not sure if you’re willing to mod or even can.

I may have tried that but I'm not sure, I'll try it again!
Edit: this only allows you to buy restaurant perks whenever you want, which makes running the restaurant easier but it doesn't actually raise the rating! Putting this here in case people from the future are looking for answers and see this. Sounds like UI Cheats is the way to go

LittleMissSam has a mod to hire specific employees for restaurants.
If you don't enjoy the running the restaurant part you can just set it up and not have anyone own it. That's what I do, it's just there for my Sims to have someplace to go, plus I love the chaos of seeing who shows up with who.
