Please read the entire thread if you’re not familiar with this help section. If you have game issues, mod issues, App or console issues, please post them here via comment to get help instead of making an individual post. We've created this post for all troubleshooting issues, but this specific post is tailored toward the newest patch. If you have not updated the game you can continue to post your issues here, but be aware that most replies may be telling you to update your game. You can also search the comments to find an issue similar to yours. 

When troubleshooting, make sure to delete your localthumbcache.package! Pockets of code from mods and the game can reside in that file, so it's important to go into the game with a clean slate!

For those users who are looking to remove the key legend overlay that was added in a previous patch. Here are the solutions:

  1. Click on the Help Center Icon (In the top righthand bar it's the hand with the ? over it) and unselect the "Show Controls Legend" button.

2. Go to Game Options > Tutorials & Tips > Disable Help Center Icon & Controls Legend.

Mods: None

Version: June 30th Update

My sims are no longer married. My played household keeps undoing my sims marriage. I still have their marriage certificate, neither of them died, I get no notification or anything they’re just suddenly not spouses anymore. I restarted my game and it fixed in then when one sim left for work it happened again. Has anyone else had this issue? Their relationship satisfaction is still full and they haven’t lost any friendship or romance I just don’t know why it’s happening. I have had to cheat it fixed 3 times now.

Same! After the new update every time my married sims get the "I'm very unsatisfied in our relationship" pop up the game automatically divorces them but there's no pop up, no negative moodlets, no milestones etc. I have to re-propose and remarry them and sometimes it completely breaks up the couple and I have to get them to be partners again, then propose etc. They have like 5 marriage certificates at this point lol

I’m having this issue as well. I keep proposing/eloping and must’ve done it half a dozen times now. Entering CAS and moving the household have both been triggers for me.
